The mystery around the death of Gyan Bindu Academy director Raushan Anand’s brother, Prince Yadav, is getting deeper and murkier. While Raushan Anand accused social media influencer and educator Faizal Khan (popularly known as ‘Khan sir’) of being involved in the murder of Prince Yadav, the post-mortem process of the deceased is also under suspicion.
As per reports, Anand has accused Faisal Khan of killing his brother, Prince Yadav, in a well-planned manner. Earlier this week, Anand filed a complaint at the Kadamkuan police station in Patna seeking the registration of an FIR against Faizal Khan and others.
The police accepted the complaint, but have not lodged an FIR as they are examining the jurisdictional aspects because the death happened in Nepal. On Saturday (21st June), students of Raushan Anan organised a candlelight march from Patna College to Kargil Chowk, demanding the filing of an FIR against Faizal Khan.
Raushan Anand and Khan are rivals as both run coaching centres to train government job aspirants. Anand has alleged that Khan and others were involved in a deep criminal conspiracy and intended to ruin him and his family. He said that following a clash on 2nd June between staff members of the two coaching institutes over the removal of certain posters, Khan and others orchestrated a shooting to implicate him. Anand was arrested in connection with a firing incident at Faizal Khan’s coaching institute.
Anand further alleged that on 13th June, an attempt was made on his life under a conspiracy while he was inside jail and that the murder of his brother was part of the same conspiracy. Notably, Prince Yadav’s body was found in a hotel room in Nepal’s Biratnagar on 13th June.
“I was arrested in a false case lodged by ‘Khan sir’. My younger brother, Prince Yadav, was murdered in a well-planned manner. While I was in jail, he (Khan) got my brother murdered. I seek justice for Prince and demand an impartial inquiry,” Anand said.
On the other hand, Khan has said that he suspects a conspiracy by a third party behind the death. He said, “This sinister conspiracy was hatched by a third party, taking advantage of the ongoing feud between Roshan Anand and me. I demand that a high-level team be formed to investigate this matter and that whoever is found guilty be hanged. The police should immediately reveal the identities of the five arrested individuals. I am always ready to provide any assistance the victim’s family needs.”
Suspicions raised over the post-mortem report
Meanwhile, questions are being raised about the post-mortem of Prince Yadav, which was conducted at Kosi Hospital in Nepal. The post-mortem process of Yadav is surrounded by many questions, as the entire process was reportedly completed in just 20 minutes. The process usually takes 2 hours to complete, as it involves an examination of vital organs such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver.
It is being alleged that Prince Yadav’s post-mortem was not conducted properly, as his vital organs were not examined. The doctors who conducted the post-mortem have stated in the preliminary report that the cause of death is not clear. The doctors are waiting for the viscera test report of Yadav to figure out the cause of death.
“The exact cause of death is not clear; we will know the actual reason once the viscera test report arrives,” the doctors in Nepal who conducted the post-mortem on Prince Yadav mentioned in their report. The viscera report will be crucial in determining the cause of the death, which could be a heart attack, poisoning, a medical emergency, or other causes. The viscera sample has been sent to a lab in Dharan.
According to Dainik Bhaskar, a senior doctor at Kosi Hospital, speaking on condition of anonymity, made a significant revelation. He stated that upon first looking at Prince’s body, it appeared to be a case of murder.
The doctor alleged that no forensic expert was present at the hospital when the postmortem was conducted. He stated that the doctors were under pressure from the police to conduct the examination quickly, as they wanted to remove the body from the hospital as soon as possible.
As per reports, several crucial tests were not done during the postmortem examination. Tests for the presence of alcohol and poison were not conducted, lungs were not examined, tongue was not examined, the heart was cut but it was not opened, and a head injury was ignored.
Friends arrested over changing statements
Prince Yadav had gone to Nepal with his five friends to evade arrest in connection with the firing incident at Faizal Khan’s coaching institute. Yadav was named as an accused in the FIR filed regarding the firing incident.
Prince Yadav had not gone to Nepal alone; he was hiding there with five of his friends. When the police questioned the Indian friends accompanying him—Ankit Yadav, Roshan Yadav, Lattu (Laddu) Yadav, and Jayram Yadav—their statements raised immediate alarm. Initially, these friends told the local media that they were all together when Prince’s health deteriorated and that they were the ones who took him to the hospital.
But when the Nepal Police interrogated them strictly, everyone’s statements changed. They said that at the time of the accident, only Laddu Yadav was in the hotel with Prince, and the other four people had gone to visit Jogbani. Laddu Yadav initially said that he was outside, but later admitted that he was present in the room.
Due to such a change in statements, they have been taken into custody by the police, while their Nepali helper has been granted bail.
As the incident took place in Nepal, the entire probe will be conducted by Nepali police, and Indian’s police won’t be able to investigate the matter. The forensic examination of Prince’s viscera will be conducted at a lab in Dharan, Nepal, and the final report will be issued by doctors there. If his family does not agree with the probe’s result, they will have to appeal to the Nepal government through the Indian Embassy.
