Uttar Pradesh: Suhail and his aides murder Hindu youth in Baghpat over minor dispute on Holi, stab victim in the chest 5 times

On Wednesday (4th March), a Hindu youth named Amrit Sharma was murdered over a minor dispute at a chicken shop in Titroda village in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, the victim had gone to purchase chicken from the shop of one Sajid. He was invited by his ‘friend’ Sameer to celebrate the Holi feast.

Following his visit to the shop, Amrit Sharma had a heated argument with some men. He was then stabbed 5 times in the chest.

The victim sustained stab injuries in the heart, stomach and waist. He died on the spot due to profuse blood loss. The accused were identified as Suhail, Anas, Shaukeen and Chinku.

On learning about the matter, the police reached the crime scene and sent the body of the victim for a post-mortem. A First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the accused.

A manhunt was launched to nab the 4 men, who have been on the run from law enforcement agencies. A large contingent of police was deployed in the village to prevent any untoward law and order situation.

The victim’s brother has demanded the encounter of the 4 accused.
