In Bihar’s Bettiah, a team of vigilance department has raided a government official’s house and seized crores of rupees in cash. As per reports , the raid has been conducted at the rented house of Bettiah District Education Officer (DEO) Rajnikant Praveen and crores of rupees in cash has been found.

The accused officer has been posted as the DEO in Bettiah for 3 years. He has been accused of amassing wealth beyond his legitimate earnings. Praveen lives in a rented house in the Vasant Vihar colony in the Mufassil police station area in Bettiah. The vigilance team has been raiding the house since the morning on Thursday, January 22.
