Bike-borne assailants open fire on car of actor Tiger Shroff; Bishnoi gang claims responsibility: Details

On 18th October, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped without injury while his BMW car driver was injured after three bike-borne assailants opened fire on the car in Mumbai’s Juhu. According to reports, the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang has claimed responsibility for the attack. One of the attackers has reportedly been identified as Anil Pandit, a member of the Bishnoi Gang.

Reports say that Tiger Shroff was on the hit list of the Bishnoi Gang for “not heeding our directions” and was “working with Salman Khan”. The firing incident unfolded under the jurisdiction of Juhu police station, when Tiger Shroff was returning home after playing a football match.

DCP Mohit Garg of Zone 1, Western Region, has confirmed that three rounds were fired, but the actor was safe. However, his driver has suffered injuries to his right hand and has been admitted to Nanavati Hospital. Another person seated in the car has also been admitted.

Meanwhile, a social media post attributed to the Bishnoi gang linked gangsters Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, who are based abroad, claimed responsibility for the attack on Tiger Shroff.

“Jai Mahakal… Jai Shri Ram Ram Ram ji to all the brothers, ANIL PANDIT and HARMAN SANDHU take the responsibility for this work done by TIGER SHROFF today. We had called him and explained it to him, but he did not understand; hence, today we explained it to him properly and whoever in the MUMBAI FILM INDUSTRY does not listen to us or works with SALMAN KHAN, his turn will be next; wait and watch. Note = And some other group of dogs who think of gaining fame in our name; we will soon kill them and make them famous,” the post reads.

The police, meanwhile, have cordoned off the area and constituted 15 teams to investigate the firing and track down the attackers.
