A young British girl has shared the horrific sexual assault she suffered at the hands of a large group of Bangladeshi men while she was on a trip to Milan, Italy on the occasion of New Year.

As per reports, the victim, who has shared her story waiving her right to anonymity, was at the Piazza Del Duomo in Milan for New Year celebrations with her friends earlier this month. While celebrating in a large gathering, she was slowly pushed on, separated by her friends by dozens of Bangladeshi men who began to pull her clothes, slide their hands on her body and began groping her.
“They held my hands, my arms. I could not even move or defend myself”, she was quoted by Daily Mail.
She mentioned that one man even sexually assaulted her with his hand, while others around her talked and jeered about raping her. The assaulters reportedly became ‘happier’ and intensified their assault with her growing distress. She was finally rescued by her friends when she started screaming.
The girl has complained to the police and sought legal help. They learned later that the group of men were of Bangladeshi origin and possibly repeat offenders. The victim has said that most of them were in their 40s and they began groping young girls just at the moment when everyone in the public became distracted with the New Year’s countdown.
