A Congress worker from Amethi openly threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi with stone-pelting during preparations for the party’s 1st November ‘Chalo Dilli’ rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan. In a conversation with a reporter from digital media channel Pyara Hindustan, the worker repeatedly threatened that people from Amethi would attack the Prime Minister with stones if the Delhi Police interrupt Congress workers from reaching the rally.
When asked about the ground preparation and potential police intervention, the worker openly threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the public from Amethi would react violently if party members were stopped by law enforcement.
He repeatedly asserted, “If Delhi Police stops Congress workers tomorrow, the people of Amethi will hit Modi ji with stones, mark my words” (agar kal delhi police ne Congress karyakartaon ko roka, to Amethi ki janta Modi ji ko patharon se maregi, jaan lijiyega).
Even after the reporter cautioned him about the severity of making such threats on camera, the worker maintained his violent stance against the PM. When questioned whether they had brought stones, he clarified, “We haven’t brought stones, we have brought our hands. We have come from Amethi, the land of Rahul Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi” (pathar nhi laye hain hath laye hain, Amethi se aaye hain, Rahul Gandhi ji ki dharti se, Rajeev Gandhi ji ki dharti se).
Congress worker says Bangladeshi infiltrators should not be removed from voter lists
The exchange escalated when the reporter shifted the discussion to the presence of illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators residing in India and asked whether their names should be removed from the voter list.
The Congress worker strongly opposed revoking their voting rights, effectively revealing that illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators actively vote for the Congress party, stating, “Not at all, if they are living here with us and supporting us, their names should definitely not be cut” (bilkul nhi katna chahiye, agar wo hmare yahan reh rahe hain, hmara sath de rahe hain to bilkul nhi katna chahiye).
When asked to clarify whether these infiltrators were backing the party on the ground, he confirmed their electoral support, saying, “They are definitely supporting, they will definitely support, 100%” (bilkul de rahe hain, bilkul denge, 100% denge) and added, “Everyone is our brother” (Sab hmare bhai hain).
He went on to assert that these illegal residents actively participate in elections to vote for Congress, stating, “Absolutely sir, they are definitely voting” (Bilkul krega sir, bilkul voting kar raha hai).
