Multiple services under one roof
Residents visiting the camps will be able to access a variety of services, including Aadhaar registration, ration card-related work, e-Shram cards, Jan Dhan account assistance, and facilities linked to Pink Saheli cards. People can also get support for registration and loan-related benefits under the Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. Guidance on loan schemes for Start-up India and MSMEs will also be available.
Most of the camps will be held on school grounds to ensure that people can reach them easily. The camps will remain open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will provide a common platform for services offered by both the Central and Delhi governments.
Representatives from various departments will be present at the camps to assist citizens and process applications. These include the Delhi Jal Board, Transport Department, Power Department, Urban Development Department, Health and Family Welfare Department, Education Department, Women and Child Development Department, Revenue Department, and the Irrigation and Flood Control Department.
Focus on quick resolution of public grievances
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the government wants eligible people to receive the benefits of welfare schemes in a timely and transparent manner. She added that all departments have been directed to actively participate in the camps and resolve as many public grievances and service requests as possible on the spot.
The initiative is expected to reduce paperwork, save time for residents, and make access to government services easier by bringing multiple departments together at one location.
