‘Do you sleep with instructors’? Kerala SFI leader booked for lewd remarks on NCC cadets

The Kerala police have filed a case against 10 people including SFI activist Adarsh and SFI’s district committee member Bhagyalakshmi for barging into the NCC camp at Thikkakara KMM college and creating a nuisance. BJP Kalamassery municipal councillor Pramod has also been named as an accused in the case.

Following a food poisoning incident, parents and some locals had come to the camp and a verbal argument had ensued, leading to a clash.

SFI leader Bhagyalakshmi had reportedly barged into the camp and started arguing with the students. Reportedly some students had complained that they are being beaten by teachers. However, some students complained that Bhagyalakshmi had barged into the college and started arguing with students. She was accused of using lewd remarks and abusive words towards students. She had reportedly asked some students, “Do you sleep with the teachers here? Are you hiding anyone?”

On Monday night, following a food poisoning incident at the Kalamassery camp, 72 students were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of vomiting and fainting.
