Fatehpur: Aman Syed arrested for harassing a Hindu girl in the middle of the road, video of him dragging her and threatening to kill her goes viral

A disturbing incident from Fatehpur has come to light after a video showing a young woman being harassed in the middle of the road went viral on social media. The incident happened on Tuesday evening, 7 April, around 5 pm in the Abunagar area under Kotwali police station limits, where a Muslim man identified as Aman Syed, also known as Jordan, stopped the Hindu girl on the road and created chaos at a busy crossroads.

In the video, Aman Syed can be seen trying to force the girl onto his motorcycle while claiming that she was his girlfriend. The woman clearly resisted and kept asking him to let her go, but he continued dragging her and even pulled her bag in an attempt to make her sit on the bike. The situation turned tense as the drama continued for quite some time in the middle of the road.

As the incident unfolded, a crowd gathered at the spot, leading to a traffic jam. Some bystanders started recording videos of the scene, which later spread quickly on social media. This made the accused angry, and he was seen threatening people who were filming him. The video also shows him using abusive language and trying to intimidate the woman when she resisted.

According to the complaint filed with the police, Aman Syed not only harassed the girl in public but also engaged in obscene acts and threatened to kill her when she refused to go with him. Despite her continuous resistance, he kept trying to force her onto the motorcycle.

Taking the matter seriously after the video surfaced online, the police registered a case against Aman Syed under sections 126(2), 75, 352, and 351(2) of the IPC and began further investigation. Fatehpur Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik confirmed that the accused was seen stopping the woman on the road, misbehaving with her, and attempting to force himself on her.

Police have now arrested Aman Syed, and officials say that strict legal action is being taken. Further evidence is also being collected as part of the ongoing investigation. The incident has sparked anger among locals and social media users, with many demanding strong action in the case.
