A 26-year-old Indian national named Koyyada Ravi Teja was shot dead outside a building in Washington DC on Saturday (18th January).
At the time of the incident, Teja had gone to deliver a food order. He sustained two bullet injuries and died on the spot.
The Indian national from Hyderabad city of Telangana had completed his master’s degree from the Sacred Heart University in Connecticut.
He was searching for a job, planning to get married and relocate his parents to the North American country this year.
However, Teja’s life was cut short by some robbers who shot him at point-blank range. His mother Suvarna is a homemaker while his father Chandramouli is a cab driver.
Teja’s sister Shriya has recently graduated from the United States. In December last year, another Indian national named Sai Teja Nukarapu was killed at a gas station near Chicago.
