A German diplomat posted in Islamabad has been found dead in his apartment. As per reports, Thomas Jürgen, the second secretary at the German Embassy in Islamabad was found dead inside his residence in the diplomatic enclave of the Pakistani capital.

The body was found after the staff at the German embassy raised concerns because Thomas Jürgen did not show up for work for 2 days, without any information.
Prima facie, the death seems to be due to a heart attack. Thomas Jürgen reportedly already had a previous heart attack. His body has been sent for autopsy. More details are awaited.
