Mumbai Police have apprehended the alleged assailant who broke into actor Saif Ali Khan’s house and attacked him. According to Aaj Tak’s report, the suspect’s name is Shahid, who already has 4-5 prior cases registered against him.
The police are currently interrogating Shahid. Reports suggest that Kareena Kapoor was not at home during the attack. CCTV footage from the night of the incident, recorded at 1:37 a.m., shows the intruder climbing up the stairs. Saif’s residence is located on the 12th floor. The suspect was arrested earlier today and sent for questioning.
Earlier information revealed that Shahid had also attempted to break into Shah Rukh Khan’s house but was unsuccessful.
Additionally, Saif’s son Jeh’s nanny stated that the intruder entered the room, ordered her to stay quiet, and demanded ₹1 crore. When she tried to protect Jeh, he attacked her with a blade and also injured Saif.
UPDATE: The Mumbai police have said that the man detained earlier has nothing to do with the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case. The police have also said that nobody has been detained in the case so far.
