In UP’s Shamli, medical shop owners have taken to the streets to celebrate with Dhol Baja after a drug inspector named Nidhi Pandey was suspended by the District Magistrate over allegations of corruption.
As per reports, the drug inspector had many complaints of corruption and bribery against her. She was allegedly demanding bribes in thousands of rupees from the medical store owners in the area.

One shop owner Devraj Malik had complained against the said drug inspector multiple times, alleging that she was demanding bribes and threatening the chemist shop owners in exchange for approvals and certificates.
UP के शामली में 3 साल तक मेडिकल स्टोर स्वामियों से प्रति माह लाखो की वसूली कर चुकी (DI) ड्रग इंस्पेक्टर निधि पांडेय का 'वसूली' वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद शासन ने उन्हे सस्पेंड करते हुए लखनऊ सम्बद्ध कर दिया है।

A video recently went viral where the drug inspector Nidhi Pandey was seen demanding bribes and threatening a shopkeeper. The Shamli DM took cognisance of the matter and ordered a probe. After the allegations of bribery demand were found prima facie correct, Pandey was suspended from her post.
