Terrorist Hafiz Talha Saeed of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has intensified his anti-Indian rhetoric, citing jihad and the “legacy” of alleged Muslim rule in the Indian subcontinent. He also praised Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, who is similarly notorious for his propensity to invoke jihad to demonstrate his animosity towards India and Hindus, as he did prior to the Pahalgam terror attack. Talha, the son of UN (United Nations) designated LeT co-founder and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, delivered a fresh wave of anti-India vitriol in a speech in Sheikhupura, Pakistan.
Talha Saeed (son of UN-designated LeT founder Hafiz Saeed) just stood on a public stage in Sheikhupura and said they will keep doing “jihad,” that Delhi “belonged” to Muslims for 500 years, and that Pak Army Chief Asim Munir is reviving “faith, piety and jihad.”

Talha threatened, “We are those who took the pledge of jihad at the hands of the Noble Prophet Muhammad. As long as we are alive and have strength within us, we will continue this jihad and keep offering these sacrifices.” He then turned his attention to India, claiming, “Here, in this subcontinent, Muslims ruled for 500 years. On what basis do the anti-Pakistan rulers sitting in Delhi speak today? Have they forgotten history, who Delhi belonged to, and to whom all these regions of India belonged?”
He insisted, “I am not saying anything for the sake of praise, anything that is false, or anything that goes against reality. Whatever I say, I say it with conviction,” to lend credibility to his propaganda. Talha then lauded Munir, alleging, “I express my gratitude to Almighty Allah that he granted Pakistan an Army Chief and Field Marshal who is a Hafiz of the Quran (memorised Quran).”
He added that the army chief had “once again revived” their motto of “Faith, Piety and Jihad for the cause of Allah.” Talha conveyed that conversations with Munir have repeatedly highlighted these concepts, as the nation’s military leader consistently promotes the Islamist narrative endorsed by these terrorist organisations.
Talha also hailed the so-called “Makkah Pact” between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as well as Pakistan’s purported role in protecting the Two Holy Mosques in Islam. He referred to the Ottoman Caliphate and the history of the Arabian Peninsula to argue that the three nations and their distinct pasts have a “landmark historical background.”
Pakistan has utilised terrorism as a means of foreign policy, particularly against India. The country’s military is notorious for being in bed with terrorist outfits to launch attacks on India and kill innocent civilians.
