‘We will not tolerate this man’: Lawrence Bishnoi Gang threatens actor Aamir Khan, accuses him of promoting ‘Love Jihad’

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has received a threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, days after news of his third marriage made headlines. According to reports, a social media post, shared by people linked to the gang, accused the actor of promoting “love jihad” and warned him of consequences. However, the authenticity of the post has not been independently verified.

The threat was issued in the names of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Arzu Bishnoi, and another person identified as Tyson Bishnoi. Mumbai Police are currently verifying the social media post and a voice note that surfaced along with it.

Social media post accuses Aamir Khan of promoting ‘love jihad’

The post claimed that Aamir Khan was encouraging what it described as “love jihad” and said the gang would not remain silent.

“I, Aarzoo Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi (Lawrence Bishnoi Group), want to say that people like Aamir Khan are promoting what is being called ‘Love Jihad’ in our country, which is against our culture. We will not tolerate this man, and he will soon be made to face the consequences. This is against Sanatan Dharma and against the nation,” the post stated.

It further said, “We promise our brothers, sisters, and fellow citizens that whoever promotes such disgraceful acts will be dealt with in our own way. Those who are encouraging this in the name of stardom will be silenced.” The same post also referred to the kidnapping, trafficking and sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar. While praising the administration’s action in the case, it warned that anyone who escaped legal punishment or tried to protect the accused would face consequences.

The post also paid tribute to two gang members, Parvesh and Himanshu, saying, “Our two martyred brothers, Parvesh and Himanshu, will always remain in our hearts. We will not let your sacrifice go in vain.”

According to the media reports, Mumbai Police received information about the threat through Facebook and a voice note. Officials are examining both to determine whether they are genuine.

Police sources also said that neither Aamir Khan nor anyone from his team has filed a formal complaint so far. They added that legal action, including registration of a case, may be taken if a complaint is lodged after the verification process.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang has threatened Salman Khan

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has previously issued multiple threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The gang has claimed that it wants to target the actor over the 1998 blackbuck hunting case, as the Bishnoi community considers the animal sacred.

In 2018, Lawrence Bishnoi had openly threatened Salman Khan during a court appearance, saying, “We will kill Salman Khan in Jodhpur. Everyone will know once we take action.”

The gang later claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra in April 2024. It also linked itself to the killing of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, with gang members claiming that Siddique was targeted because of his close association with the actor.
