The Bombay High Court has ordered to quash criminal proceedings against Bollywood actor Salman Khan in a complaint filed by a journalist in 2019 alleging assault and misbehaviour.
The FIR has been filed under sections 406, 420, 498 A, 323, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under sections 3(1)(g), 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
The two BJP workers namely Vishnu and Dinesh were allegedly attacked with weapons. Vishnu's mother was also attacked when she tried to stop the attackers.
