Samajwadi Party leader Moid Khan, a close aide of Ayodhya MP Awadhesh Prasad, is the prime accused in the minor gang rape case.

The Yogi Adityanath government in the state has suspended police station in-charge Ratanlal Sharma and outpost in-charge Akhilesh Gupta. At the same time, Moid Khan's property is being investigated. Now an FIR has also been registered against Nagar Panchayat President Rashid Khan.

The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has taken major action in the case of gangrape of a minor girl of OBC community by Moid Khan, a close aide of Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad of Ayodhya.

Yogi Adityanath launched a blistering attack on the Opposition alliance of Congress and the SP in the state legislature stating that the names of SP leaders were recently linked to the rape of an extremely backward girl in Ayodhya and the death of a lawyer in Hardoi.

According to reports, the accused Khan is said to be close to Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad and is the party’s Nagar President of the Bhadarsa region

Earlier this week, Laos released a postage stamp showcasing Shri Ram Lalla of Ayodhya, becoming the first nation to feature the Hindu deity.

"The movement which was initiated by Lal Krishna Advani and had its epicentre in Ayodhya has been defeated by the I.N.D.I. Alliance in Ayodhya," Rahul Gandhi claimed.

CM Yogi Adityanath demanded a public apology from Rahul Gandhi. He described Gandhi’s statement as deeply hurtful to the sentiments of millions of Hindus in India. He urged the Congress leader to apologise for his immature comments and added that such statements reveal Rahul's lack of understanding and maturity as a leader.

BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi took a swipe at the opposition bragging about their victory in Ayodhya, taunting that those who questioned Lord Ram's existence were falling over themselves to prove his existence.

Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairman Nripendra Misra rubbished online claims of water leakage stating that since Guru Mandap is exposed to the sky as the second floor and completion of Shikar will cover the opening.
