For decades, India has followed established protocols to deport Bangladeshi infilitrators and Rohingyas to their home country. The process has been slow (pending trial in courts), cumbersome (because Bangladesh government and BGB often refuse to acknowledge their own citizens) and has failed to attain success.

In a crackdown on illegal immigration, Delhi police have registered an FIR at Narela Industrial Area Police Station against the syndicate facilitating unlawful entry into the country.

In a significant operation, police in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district detained 90 Bangladeshi nationals from Khajpur village under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nauhjheel, said officials.

The Bangladeshi nationals were identified as Mohammad Bellal, Mohammad Yeasin), Emon Hossen, Mohammad Ghiyas Uddin, Mohammad Rubel Hossain, Nasruddin, and Tanvir Hasan.

Following the attack by illegal Bangladeshis, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal rushed to the spot. Speaking to media, she said, "These Bangladeshi squatters have attacked municipal staff and engaged in criminal activities. How are they getting electricity connections? This negligence must be addressed immediately.”

The Bangladeshi nationals were identified as Jahangir, his wife Parina Begam and their six children. All were residing at Rangpuri.

Shamyul, Rifat Rehman and Mahmood Hasan Arafat are the accused and strict action has been demanded against them.

GRP and BSF have arrested 12 Bangladeshi infiltrators in a joint operation at Teliamura railway station located in Khowai district of Tripura.

In the last couple of days, several visuals have come up showing Bangladeshis gathering at the Indo-Bangladesh border in a bid to enter India and escape the violence back home.

The police recovered a PAN card, ATM card, Dependent ID card, 2 white metal rings, 3 visiting cards, 5 mobile phones and a sum of ₹849 from Nazama.
