The three-day Deepotsav is celebrated in Ayodhya during Diwali. The city is decorated with lights and artists are invited from all over the nation to display their art.

The festival of lights, Diwali, will be celebrated in India on 27th October this year.

The Union Minister announced that Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) labs have been successful in developing various environment-friendly fireworks such as sound-emitting crackers, flowerpots, pencils, chakkar and sparklers.

In August, the iconic building was lit up with the Indian tricolour to mark Independence Day.
