"On March 18, slogan-shouting Khalistani supporters had broken through the makeshift security barriers raised by the city police and put up two so-called Khalistani flags in the Consultate premises, damaged the consulate building, assaulted and caused injuries to the consulate officials", the NIA statement read.
In a midnight tweet, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur said, "The government is willing to discuss with the wrestlers on their issues. I have once again invited the wrestlers for the same."
