The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has advised over 11,000 food outlets to stream live kitchen CCTV footage to customers following widespread hygiene violations. The crackdown aligns with interstate food safety raids and a fatal food poisoning incident in Gujarat.

Based on the receipts of the order, the Commission held that the order clearly indicates that the KFC Chandigarh outlet, instead of delivering a veg krisper burger as mentioned in the receipts, delivered a non-veg krisper burger stuffed with chicken.

Rioters were shouting anti-Israel and pro-Hamast slogans. A man in a viral video was heard shouting "We have burned down KFC" while cheering.
