Stockholm police informed that they had given permission to a man who has stated that he intended to burn the Torah and the Bible outside the Israeli Embassy in Sweden this weekend as a protest.
Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) leader Saad Hussein Rizvi said that Pakistan should declare war against Sweden in order to stop blasphemy against Islam.
In the said meeting it was decided that nationwide protests would be held to condemn the Quran-burning incident. Sharif urged the Pakistani people, including all political parties, to join the protest.
This development came after the incident in Sweden on June 28, the first day of the Muslim Eid al Adha holidays, when an ex-Muslim tore and burned a Quran outside Stockholm’s major mosque
