Section 3D of the Waqf (Amendment) Act ensures that no Waqf claim can be made over any site already designated as a protected monument or area under heritage laws.

All India Muslim Women Personal Law Board has expressed its support for the Waqf Amendment Bill, and urged govt to bring transparency in the working of Waqf board and ensure rights to women.
"The UDF and LDF have once again exposed their shameless politics of appeasement by opposing the Waqf Amendment Bill. Nothing but a blatant betrayal of the people of Kerala, especially the residents of Munambam who were facing eviction from their own land!" said Chandrasekhar in a post on X.
