The political violence in the state of West Bengal continues unchecked as according to BJP, 3 workers have been shot by the police in Panchasayar in Bankura district for chanting Jai Shree Ram.
The BJP delegation had visited Bhatpara to review the situation and investigate the reports of violence against BJP workers after violent clashes on Thursday claimed the lives of 2 people and injured several.
It was reported on Thursday that two people had died and three were injured as a consequence of the clashes which were said to be between Trinamool and BJP supporters.
Bombs were hurled and several bullets were fired in the air during the clash between the two groups near a newly constructed police station, which was scheduled for inauguration on Thursday.
Apart from 'Jai Sri Ram', slogans like Jai Ma Kali, Allahu Akbar, Radhe Radhe were are also heard during the swearing-in ceremony in the West Bengal assembly.
