The defence sought time to submit written response which the court granted. The matter will be heard next on 27th April.

Details of the case

On 23rd March, the first FIR in the case was registered at Deolali Camp Police Station in Nashik, where a woman working at TCS accused several Muslim employees, including Nida Khan, of hurting religious sentiments and workplace harassment. Following the FIR, an undercover operation by female cops revealed a scandal, leading to eight additional FIRs at Mumbai Naka Police Station. All the accused in the case, except Nida Khan, have been arrested by the police. Nida Khan appealed for interim anticipatory bail, claiming she is pregnant. The uproar in the matter forced TCS to issue a public statement and initiate an internal investigation.
