Yogi govt hands 2,000 appointment letters in May, pushes ahead with a massive recruitment drive

In a major boost for employment in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led government handed appointment letters to around 2,000 youths in the month of May 2026 alone.

Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave appointment letters to 932 candidates selected by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for various services in 21 different departments

The Yogi government is reported to have given employment to over 900,000 people. In the field of education, along with the imminent recruitment of 11,508 vacant positions in council schools across Uttar Pradesh, preparations are underway to recruit 10,000 instructors in upper primary schools.

The reforms brought by the BJP government in the MSME sector have created job opportunities for around 3 crore people.
