Together, these two projects represent direct investments of about ₹6,750 crore in the Yamuna City region. Several leading industrialists from India and abroad attended the ceremony, where the Chief Minister officially unveiled the foundation plaques for both manufacturing facilities.
‘We want to manufacture in India and export to the world’
Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh is steadily emerging as one of India’s biggest investment destinations under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
He said, “The electronic components that India currently imports from the world, our goal now is to manufacture them here in the country and export them to the world.” He added that the state government is working aggressively to make Uttar Pradesh a leading centre for electronics component manufacturing.
The Chief Minister also said that international investors are showing increasing confidence in Uttar Pradesh’s industrial ecosystem. Referring to recent foreign interest, he said representatives from South Korea had visited the state after witnessing its investment-friendly environment.
From ‘Jungle Raj’ to development hub
Yogi Adityanath also compared the present industrial growth with the state’s past image. He said Uttar Pradesh, once known for poor law and order, has now become a preferred destination for investors from India and abroad.
He remarked that “Jewar, once infamous for jungle raj, has now emerged as the biggest symbol of development and ‘Mangal Raj’.” He added that the upcoming Noida International Airport would become a new symbol of the state’s economic progress, and commercial flights would begin soon.

Uttar Pradesh and South Korea have centuries-old historical ties
In his address, the Chief Minister also recalled the ancient cultural ties between India and South Korea. He said that the relationship between South Korea and Uttar Pradesh is not just trade-related but also historical. According to our scriptures and beliefs, centuries ago, the Queen of Korea was actually a princess from Ayodhya, who arrived there by sea.
The Chief Minister said that such a large investment gives the state a new identity on the global stage. This not only creates ample employment at the local level but also strengthens Prime Minister Modi’s resolve for a “self-reliant India.” The Uttar Pradesh government is committed to providing complete security and superior facilities to every investor.
Many senior leaders of the central and state governments were present at the program
Many senior leaders from the country and the state attended this historic foundation stone-laying ceremony held in Yamuna City.
