Pakistan PM Imran Khan quotes Congress again as he desperately clutches to straws to rake up Kashmir issue

A desperate Imran Khan again turned towards India’s opposition party, Congress as hope to draw the international community’s attention toward the Kashmir issue following the abrogation of Article 370. Launching a renewed attack on India, Pakistan Prime Minister Khan said that the curfew in Kashmir is still not lifted. “Even the Congress party in India has commented that poor people have been shut inside for 50 days. No one knows what’s happening with the political prisoners,” Khan said on the sidelines of the UNGA session in New York.

This is not the first time Pakistan has tried to piggyback on Congress while trying to make a point on Kashmir. Earlier this month, Pakistan’s anti-India dossier to the UNHRC featured former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders. The dossier quoted remarks made by Rahul Gandhi in the aftermath of India’s decision to abrogate Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir where he had taken to Twitter to castigate Jammu and Kashmir authorities and had cast doubts on the Indian government.

Rahul Gandhi had said that it had been 20 days since people of Jammu & Kashmir “had their freedom and civil liberties curtailed”. He could be heard speaking to the security forces that he would like to go to ‘any area which is peaceful’ and had concluded his video by saying that “it is very clear that things are not normal in Jammu & Kashmir.” The former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had also ‘noted’ that “people dying” in Jammu & Kashmir, in light of events “going very wrong here”.

Prior to this too, Pakistan had written to the UN accusing India of carrying out human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir and had used this statement by Rahul Gandhi and other leftist leaders to further its narrative.

Earlier this year following the Pulwama terror attack where a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist killed 40 CRPF jawans by ramming an explosive-laden car in the convoy, Pakistan had used the stand taken by Rahul Gandhi and his political cronies to further its agenda against India. Pakistani analysts and strategists in their media debates had even named the Congress as a ‘sympathiser’ of Pakistan. Recently, Imran Khan had even copied Rahul Gandhi’s favourite lines against RSS and the BJP and had stated that the RSS and PM Modi are planning a Nazi-like imposition of Hindutva ideology in India.

However, yesterday, Khan expressed his ‘disappointment’ at being repeatedly snubbed by the international community and failing to gather any support for Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. “I am disappointed by the international community. If eight billion Europeans or Jews or even eight Americans were put under siege, would the reaction have been the same? You think Kashmiris will quietly accept that Kashmir has been annexed?” he told the mediapersons on the sidelines of UNGA.

Pakistan has vowed to rake up the abrogation of Article 370 issue when Pakistan PM Khan addresses the UNGA session this Friday.

US President Donald Trump calls PM Modi ‘Father of India’, says Modi will “take care” of radical Islamic terrorism

United States President Donald Trump last night called Prime Minister Modi ‘Father of India’ and said that he will take care of radical Islamic terrorism.

On answering a media query on the ‘Howdy, Modi!’ event which President Trump had attended in Houston, Texas on 22nd September where PM Modi addressed Indian diaspora, Trump said, “He is a great gentleman and a great leader. I remember India before was very torn. There was a lot of dissension, lot of fighting and he brought it all together. Like a father would. Maybe he is the ‘father of India’.” He further added that the Indian diaspora at the ‘Howdy, Modi!’ event loved Prime Minister Modi. “People went crazy. It was like Elvis. He is like an American version of Elvis. They love your Prime Minister,” he said. Elvis Presley was an iconic American actor and singer and is often referred to as “The King of Rock and Roll”.

On Islamic terror

In another question, a journalist asked President Trump that during the Houston event, Trump had said that US stands with India in the fight against radical Islamic terrorism. With reference to that, how would he see Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement that Pakistan’s ISI had trained Al Qaeda terrorists.

To that, President Trump looked at PM Modi and said, “I have not heard that and your Prime Minister will take care of it.”

The heads of two nations were addressing the media at the UN headquarters ahead of a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of UN General Assembly. Trump also added that the US will have a trade deal with India real soon. “We will have a larger deal down the road a little but we will have a trade deal soon,” he said. In June this year, the US had ended the privileges India was enjoying under the Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) which was implemented since 1974.

Misogyny? Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha feels sad when men leave, but attacks women who leave the party

0

As the political fortunes of the Congress party keep dwindling, the phenomenon of party leaders quitting the party continues. Any senior leader leaving the party should be a concern for party leaders, but for Sanjay Jha, national spokesperson of the party, the gender of the politician leaving the party seems to matter while reacting to such news.

A few days ago, Former Jharkhand Congress chief Ajoy Kumar left the party to join Aam Aadmi Party, while Tripura Congress chief Pradyot Deb Barman resigned from all party posts today. Reacting to these developments, Sanjay Jha today tweeted that he is deeply saddened due to this.

Sanjay Jha said that when talented people like Pradyot Deb Barman and Ajoy Kumar leave the party, all he can say that is deeply saddened.

But when Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi had left the party and joined Shiv Sena, Jha had different take in the issue. He had said that it was “political opportunism” and he had criticised her for not having any clear political ideology. Sanjay Jha had alleged that Priyanka Chaturvedi was joining a party which is absolutely misogynistic, fundamentalist and is against the basic principles of democracy.

Earlier after former Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi had left the party and joined BJP, Sanjay Jha had said that she has neither a conscience not a soul. Joshi had been a veteran Congress leader, but Sanjay Jha didn’t think it was a loss for the Congress party after she had left the party.

This makes one wonder, is Sanjay Jha’s views on Congress leaders leaving the party change depending on the gender of the politician?

Actor Salman Khan receives death threat ahead of his Friday hearing in the blackbuck poaching case

A social media user by the name Gary Shooter has threatened actor Salman Khan in a Facebook post. In the post, which was posted on a group called Sopu (Student organisation of Punjab University) group, Gary warns Salman that he can escape from Indian law, but not from the law of Bishnoi community.

The post carried Salman’s picture with a red cross along with the message: “Salman you may think that you are above the Indian law, but the Bishnoi community and Suopu party has given you a death sentence. You are guilty in Sopu court.”

Facebook post against actor Salman Khan

Salman Khan who was convicted by a Jodhpur court in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case,on April 5, 2018, is scheduled to be present in Jodhpur Court on September 27 (Friday) in connection with the same. The court had mentioned that Salman Khan’s bail will be cancelled if he is not present in the court on that day.

Earlier in January 2018, a gangster named Lawrence Bishnoi of Rajasthan had issued a death threat to Salman Khan, saying the Bollywood actor will be killed in Jodhpur. “what we will do, will do it openly. Will kill film actor Salman Khan in Jodhpur. Then, they will get to know,” Lawrence Bishnoi had said.

The Bishnoi community in Rajasthan which is known to be fiercely protective of their natural heritage worships the blackbuck and had protested against the actor ever since his alleged involvement in the poaching case came to the fore. The blackbuck also known as Indian Antelope is the only existing member of the genus Antelope. In fact, the complaint against the actor was also registered by the Bishnoi community of the local area at that time.

Salman reportedly had shot and killed two blackbucks (chinkaras) in the Bhagoda ki Dhani village and the complaint against him was registered on 2nd October 1998. He was also accused of carrying firearms with expired licences.

The actor along with his co-actors, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu, were in the state for the shooting of the movie Hum Sath Sath Hain during that time. According to reports, the actor, along with his companions had allegedly fled leaving the dead animals behind after being chased by the villagers.

Salman was facing charges under section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act (1972) and other actors were charged under the provisions of law under section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.

Multiculturalism is a farce and Londonistan is proof

The greatest evidence that Multiculturalism has failed spectacularly came after the abrogation of Article 370. The spectacle that ensued around the world amply demonstrated the reasons why Multiculturalism could never work. It won’t be farfetched to claim that there was more opposition to the decision in the United Kingdom and the United States than in India, barring Kashmir.

Despite the numerous occasions on which the Left may claim ‘Diversity is our strength’, it is not if there is no common core. The reason why India’s diversity is a strength is our country is held together by invisible threads of Hinduism that bind us together. Hinduism is that common core that he West lacks. The modern West does not have the luxury of a common core. Therefore, we see it struggling under the weight of identity politics.

The identity politics was on display when Indians in London were attacked in front of the Indian Embassy while celebrating Independence Day. The mob was made of Pakistanis and Britishers of Pakistani heritage and Khalistanis. No amount of ‘Diversity is our strength’ placards could prevent the India-Pakistan enmity spilling out on the streets of London.

It is also starting to affect British politics. One Labour MP, Liam Byrne, condemned India’s decision to abrogate Article 370. Upon delving into the matter, we realized his constituency had a Muslim population of over 40% with a significant share of that with a Pakistani heritage. 20% of the constituency’s population doesn’t even speak English. Therefore, Byrne’s stance on Kashmir isn’t really a surprise.

The same phenomenon was observed in the USA. We have documented extensively how Muslims and Khalistanis from various countries protested against the ‘Howdy Modi’ event at Houston. They were accompanied by Khalistanis as well. 16 Mosques and a Gurudwara with ties to the Khalistani movement were used as pick up points to gather protesters for the event.

In the United States, too, identity politics over the abrogation of Article 370 affect the statements made by politicians. As was evident from the thousands and thousands of Indians at the stadium who cheered for the complete integration of Kashmir into the Indian Union, an overwhelming majority of Indians even in the United States were completely on board with the Indian government’s decision. The opposition primarily, once again, came from Muslims and Khalistanis.

Bernie Sanders issued sermons on the matter and called Narendra Modi an authoritarian accusing him of suppressing the human rights of Kashmiris. There’s a good reason for his actions. Islamists are a core vote-bank of the Democrats. Bernie made comments against India’s decision to abrogate Article 370 at an event organized by a group that has close ties with Islamic terrorists. Therefore, his stance on the matter is no real surprise at all.

Ilhan Omar, an anti-semite who allegedly married her brother while committing immigration fraud, spoke out against India as well. And that too has to do with her vote-bank although in her case, her own opinions certainly contributed to it.

Narendra Modi was pushed into a situation where he was forced to heap praises on US President Donald Trump who has supported India’s stand on the matter. Now, there’s a very good chance that more Indian-Americans, who have traditionally voted for Democrats, will vote Republican going forward. If ‘Diversity’ was actually the West’s strength, then why are faultlines that exist within Indian society affecting US politics?

Not just the USA and the UK but even Canada’s politics is being influenced by Indian faultlines. On numerous occasions, the Indian government has expressed concerns regarding Khalistanis thriving in the country. Of course, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shot himself in the foot when he invited a convicted Khalistani terrorist to an event during his trip to India. All of us remember how that trip went, he was humiliated at every turn by the Indian government and rightly so.

With Multiculturalism, the West has imported faultlines that exist elsewhere in the world within its own borders. Battles that have traditionally been fought in India and Pakistan are now being fought in the West. If that is not sufficient evidence of the monumental failure multiculturalism is, then I don’t know what is.

Of course, the evidence of Multiculturalism being a failure started pouring in decades ago. When Muslim grooming gangs started racially targeting little white children in the United Kingdom for sexual exploitation, then moved on to Sikh girls, the alarm bells should have started ringing. When entire Pakistani Muslim communities were perfectly aware of the atrocities that were being perpetrated and yet engaged in a conspiracy of silence, the alarm bells should have definitely started ringing.

When British politicians and even the Police conspired to hush up the entire series of crimes for fear of being labelled Islamophobic, that is when the West should have known that Multiculturalism has failed in epic proportions. There’s a reason why London has acquired the reputation of being ‘Londonistan’. Londonistan, like Rome, was not created in a day. It happened over years, decades.

And now, here we are, where Muslims and Khalistanis in the West attack the Indian Embassy in London during a protest which was attended by British politicians. The West in its effort to create Diversity without putting in enough effort to create a common core has resulted in ever-increasing faultlines that threaten to tear their country apart.

The West may still have a chance of avoiding certain doom. Due to their obsession with Diversity, they have sacrificed little children at the altar of Multiculturalism. It’s time they invest a little effort into developing a common core. Maybe they could learn a thing or two from Indians in that respect.

P Chidambaram from Tihar says ‘pleasantly surprised’ after he gets a birthday greeting letter from PM Modi

Former Union Minister P Chidambaram, who spent his birthday on 16th September inside Tihar Jail, received a surprise greeting from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion. The senior Congress leader’s Twitter handle, which is being operated by his family members, informed that PM Modi wished him on his 74th birthday by sending a letter to him.

The letter, written in Tamil, was sent to Chidambaram’s village address in Tamil Nadu, which in turn forwarded to him in Tihar Jail, which explains the delay of one week in receiving the letter.

The message of Modi in the letter roughly translates to, ‘I take pleasure in wishing you hearty congratulations on your birthday. I wish the almighty to bless you with good health and happiness and let you serve the people forever like you do today’.

Chidambaram said that he was pleasantly surprised to receive the greetings from Modi. The tweet posted on behalf of P Chidambaram said, Dear Mr. Prime Minister Modi, pleasantly surprised to receive your greetings on my birthday (sent to my village address and forwarded to me).

Chidambaram also tweeted, “as you have wished, I want to continue to serve the people. Unfortunately, your investigating agencies have prevented me from doing so”. In another tweet he said, “Once the present harassment ends, I shall be back among the people that both you and I are committed to serve.”

The former finance minister tweeted the messages both in English and Tamil. He is currently lodged in Tihar Jail after he was sent to judicial custody by a special CBI court in Delhi in the INX media case.

‘Bhaiya aap mujhe jaante ho, Allah ki kasam mujhe chhod do,’ minor Dalit girl begged for mercy as three men raped and filmed her

In a deplorable act, a 15-year-old minor Dalit girl was allegedly gang-raped and filmed by three men in Ghosia village of Kaushambi district that falls under Saray Akil police station, near Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.

In a video of the gang-rape that has gone viral, the girl can reportedly be heard saying, “Allah ki kasam, mere saath mat karo (for Allah’s sake, don’t do this with me).” Amidst screams and desperate cries, the helpless girl kept begging for mercy. However, the brutes refused to spare her. As per reports, the villagers nearby rush to the spot after hearing the victim wailing and screaming.

The victim had reportedly gone to an adjoining village to get some grass from the field in Ghosia at around 1.30 pm on September 21 when three men, namely, Nazik, son of Ubaire Ulla of Ghosia village, Adil alias Chotu, son of Ismail and an unknown youth, nabbed her and pulled her into a field where they gang-raped her and filmed her. In a video accessed, the two men can be seen raping the girl in turns while one of them is recording the act.

According to media reports, when the father of the girl went to the police station to report the crime, the police thrashed him instead. The girl can be seen saying how she was pushed into the field and raped brutally. “Muslim,” she says when asked who were the perpetrators. In the video, the father of the girl says, “Three men raped my daughter, hence I went to the police station to file a report. There I was beaten up,” the father said. Angered over police apathy, the villagers reached the police station to stage a protest. Eventually, the police registered a case against all three accused.

While they managed to catch Nazik and handed him over to the police after beating him up fiercely, Adil and the unknown miscreant managed to flee the spot.

According to Kaushambi’s superintendent of police, Pradeep Gupta, a first information report (FIR) (314/2019) has been filed under sections 76 (rape), 376 D (rape by one or more persons), 354 (assault or criminal force to outrage modesty of a woman), 506 (criminal intimidation), 286 (negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance), sections 3 and 4 of Protection of children from sexual offences or POCSO Act, section of Criminal Law Amendment Act, and various sections of SC/ST Act, against the three accused.

Reports say that the police have acquired the entire video of the crime on one of the accused, Nazik’s mobile phone and the police are now in the lookout for the two accused who are absconding.

The SP confirmed that Ghosia village remained tensed as the incident involved two different communities. He has assured strict action against the accused. The National Scheduled Castes Commission has also taken suo moto cognizance of the case. The two policemen who allegedly misbehaved with the victim’s father have been sent to police lines while an inquiry has been initiated against station house incharge. An SIT has been formed to look for the accused and a reward of Rs 25,000 has been announced on them. The victim has been given a compensation of Rs 4 lakh.

Rajasthan: One Asif pretends to be Suresh, intoxicates and gang rapes Hindu girl in hotel room

0

A first-year BCom student studying in a college in Sikar, Rajasthan, has filed a complaint at Udyog Nagar police station in Sikar alleging that a man named Asif, hailing from Khirod, a village in Nawalgarh Tehsil in Jhunjhunu District of Rajasthan, had pretended to be a Hindu, then gang-raped her along with his freinds after abducting her.

Asif, who had allegedly introduced himself as Suresh to the girl first befriended her then took her to a hotel room where he intoxicated her and later gang-raped her. He also videographed the entire incident. Asif started blackmailing the Hindu girl on the pretext of the 66 videos he had filmed of the alleged gang-rape.

The girl revealed that she had met Asif aka Suresh on the bus, which she used every day to commute from her village to her college. He had introduced himself as Suresh Kumar. They were casual friends, recalled the victim.

As per the girl’s complaint, one day Asif had called her up and asked her to meet him near a petrol pump in Sikar. When the victim reached the petrol pump Asif who was accompanied by a woman and a few other men, forcefully pulled her into a white Bolero car. They then forcefully took her to a hotel on the bypass, where Asif and his friends intoxicated her by giving her some pills and then raped her. Asif filmed the entire incident on the basis of which he started blackmailing the victim.

The woman named Supyaar, who had accompanied Asif, had also allegedly threatened the victim. She reportedly called up the victim twice and threatened her that if she did not give money, she would come to the victim’s house and show the video to her family. The accused and his gang then extracted Rs 25,000 from the victim threatening to share the rape videos.

The Udyog Nagar police station officer Virendra Sharma said that a case has been filed on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim and investigation has begun.

Kerala: Rape, blackmail and alleged forced conversion of 19-year-old girl sparks Love Jihad outrage

0

The shocking case of rape and forced religious conversion through ‘Love Jihad’ in Kerala has triggered massive outrage across the country leading to Vice-Chairman of the National Commission of Minorities (NCM) writing a concerned letter to the Union Home Minister.

A 19-year-old Christian girl in Kerala was allegedly forced to convert to Islam after being raped and blackmailed. The victim’s parents had filed a case with the Nadakavu police station against 19-year-old Jasim, who was reportedly her classmate at a coaching centre in Kozhikode.

According to the complaint made by the victim’s father, the victim along with her two friends had visited Sarovaram Bio Theme Park in the city on July 7, where they had met Jasim accidentally. The 19-year old Christian girl was later drugged and sexually abused in a building in the park. The father of the victim alleged that Jasim recorded videos of the act.

Later, Jasim allegedly blackmailed her with the videos and forced her to convert to Islam. He also threatened the Christian girl of leaking the videos on social media, according to the police complaint. The parents have also accused the police of shielding the accused as investigation lagged for more than a month without any progress.

As police investigation was delayed, the victim’s parents had lodged their complaints with National Minority Commission (NMC), following which National Minority Vice Chairman George Kurian wrote to Home Minister Amit Shah requesting National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) intervention on the complaint.

In a similar case, a Malayali Christian girl from Delhi was allegedly abducted and taken to a West Asian country by one Mohammad Siddiqui. The parents of the girl had expressed their fear that their daughter ‘ould have been brainwashed and abducted and led astray with very nefarious designs like joining an outfit such as IS or being used as a slave.

In the letter written by NCM vice-chairman to Amit Shah, he had reportedly urged the Home Ministry to “take note of this alarming trend and order a probe by the National Investigative Agency” and bring in an effective law to curb such fraudulent activities of radicalised elements.

NMC Vice Chairman George Kurian and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took up the matter and organised a protest march towards Kozhikode Commissioner’s office on September 23. Kurian pointed out that Love Jihad is very much active in Kerala and the ruling CPI(M) led-government is shielding the accused.
