Chhattisgarh: 104 people from over 50 families return to Hinduism by performing Ghar Wapsi in Mahasamund district

In a remarkable event, 104 people from more than 50 families returned to Hinduism at the Swami Sumedhanand Vedic Gurukul in Saraipali, Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh on Thursday (January 15, 2025). At a ceremony held for bringing these people to the Hindu fold, Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Vice President of the Chhattisgarh BJP unit and All India Ghar Wapsi (reconversion) chief, welcomed them into Sanatan Dharma by washing their feet and reciting Vedic mantras.

Sharing the video of the ceremony on X, Prabal Pratap wrote, “Chhattisgarh will NEVER be allowed to become Bengal! Yesterday, on the sacred land of Maa Rudreshwari in Saraipali, I had the great fortune of performing the ‘Ghar Wapsi’ (homecoming) of 104 people from several converted families by washing their feet and bringing them back into Sanatan Dharma.”

Pratap warned that a conspiracy is underway to alter the demography of the entire country. “The conspiracy of religious conversion is changing the entire demography of India. Out of India’s 800 districts, Hindus have already become a minority in 200 districts. This is a serious matter of national security! Nothing is bigger than the country; the country must remain secure. Religious conversion is the biggest threat to the nation. The demographic change of Hindus is a crisis for the country!” Pratap cautioned.

“We are determined that throughout our lives we will carry forward the ‘Ghar Wapsi’ campaign of nation-building started by our revered father Kumar Dilip Singh Judev ji,” he added. Pratap informed that the ceremony was jointly organised under the aegis of Maharshi Dayanand Math Dharmarth Trust, Swami Sumedhanand Vedic Gurukul, located in Saraipali, Katangpali, and people from the Sanatan Dharma, during the five-day ‘Musical Vedic Shriram Katha and World Welfare Mahayagya’.
