Elvish Yadav booked by Ghaziabad police for threatening, intimidating complainant in snake venom case

The Ghaziabad police have booked YouTuber Elvish Yadav, his 2 associates and several others for allegedly threatening and intimidating the key witness and complainant in the snake venom case against him.

Saurabh Gupta, the key complainant and eye witness in the case approached the court claiming that Elvish Yadav and his “gang” were following him and his family for the past few days and expressed fears that they might be killed in an accident or framed. He also claimed that they had received threats through social media handles.

“The complainant (Saurabh Gupta of the NGO) had reached out to us before but we could not get any evidence then. We have begun our investigation and are collecting all the evidence in this case,” said Poonam Mishra, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Nandgram.

Saurabh said that he had first filed a police complaint on May 15 last year after Yadav and his gang entered his housing society. Gupta said that in May, Elvish and his gang members had entered the housing society by giving false names at the entrance and started circling the housing society. Gupta had filed a case, but the police took no action, therefore, he has approached the court.
