A shocking incident has come out from Giridih district of Jharkhand, where a private school principal, Mohammad Imamuddin Ansari, has been accused of molesting and behaving inappropriately with a minor Hindu girl. Police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail after a complaint was filed.

Arrest after complaint, case under POCSO
Officials from the Panchamba police station said that action was taken immediately after receiving a written complaint from the victim. The accused principal has been booked under the POCSO Act.
Panchamba police station in-charge Rajiv Kumar confirmed that the accused has been arrested and is now in judicial custody.
The girl spoke up after days of silence
The victim, a 14-year-old student from the Panchamba area, had been facing harassment inside the school for several days. Due to fear and hesitation, she did not tell anyone at first.
A couple of days later, she suddenly told her father that she did not want to go to school anymore. When he asked the reason, she shared everything that had happened. The family was shocked and decided to act without delay.
Family approached school, faced threats
The girl’s father first went to the school to question the principal about the incident. During this, he was threatened, which made the situation more serious.
After this, the family reached out to people in the locality and explained what had happened. Realising the seriousness of the matter, locals informed the police.
Police step in after community alert
Once the complaint was formally filed at the Panchamba police station, the police quickly moved in and arrested the accused principal. The case was registered under strict child protection laws.
Anger among locals, demand strict action
The incident has caused strong anger in the area. Residents said that such behaviour inside a school is deeply disturbing and cannot be tolerated.
Sanjeev Kumar, ward commissioner of the Giridih Municipal Corporation, condemned the incident and asked the district administration to take strict action. He also demanded a proper investigation into the school.
