Former PM Manmohan Singh is dead, confirms Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra on Facebook before official announcement

After Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Thursday evening, some reports are claiming that he has already passed away. While there is no official announcement, and AIIMS is yet to issue a bulleting, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s husband Robert Vadra has already declared the former PM dead.

From his verified handle on Facebook, Robert Vadra posted a condolence message saying that he is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He offered his deepest condolences for his family and loved ones.

Reportedly, the former Prime Minister was admitted to ICU of AIIMS as he was facing “extreme breathlessness” and has been shifted to the ICU. Some media reports have claimed that he has died, but most media outlets are waiting for an official announcement.

The 92-year-old former Prime Minister, who served as the prime minister from 2004 to 2014, retired from the Rajya Sabha earlier this year. He was elected to Rajya Sabha from Assam for five terms and shifted to Rajasthan in 2019 after the Congress party didn’t have enough numbers in Assam to re-elect him.
