‘Go die and send me a video of your death’: Ayesha’s husband Arif had told her on the phone just before her suicide
Ayesha's video message just before her suicide had gone viral on social media. She was allegedly being harassed by her husband and in-laws for dowry.
The dowry harassment allegations have been filed against Sachin Bansal, his parents Kiran Bansal and Satprakash Bansal, and Sachin's brother Nitin Bansal. The complaint was filed on February 28.
While the husband has been arrested, the mother is said to be absconding.
The Supreme Court also remarked that the misuse of section 498A could result in a social disaster.
