Delhi Police informed that a case under sections 143, 506, 153A and 147 of the Indian Penal Code was lodged in the matter.

Asaduddin Owaisi’s pro-Palestine remarks can be taken into consideration under Article 102 (4) for demonstrating his allegiance or adherence to a foreign State “Palestine”.

Earlier, Asaduddin Owaisi had said that the situation in Palestine concerned not only Muslims but also humanity.

Asaduddin Owaisi has a long history of raising slogans in favour of the demolished structure. In February 2024 during the Budget Session in the Parliament, he opposed the vote of thanks for Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and ended his address by raising the slogan "Babri Masjid Zindabad".

Asaduddin Owaisi courted controversy after he proclaimed "Rehan beef shop zindabad", a veritably polarising remarks during election campaign.

Taking to X, AIMIM Chief Owaisi claimed that AIADMK, has committed that it will never ally with the BJP in the future and has also assured that it will oppose the CAA, NRC, and NPR. 

A Ghazi in Islam means someone who fights in jihad for the sake of Islam and its teachings. A Ghazi thus essentially means a Jihadi who is willing to fight against non-Muslims.

Speaking to TIme Now TPCC General Secretary said AIMIM and Congress have a pact that the grand old party will not field any candidate against Asaduddin Owaisi.
