TMC in the Parliament had yesterday opposed the move of diluting Article 370 in state of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcating it into union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

The BJD and BSP extended their support to the stripping down of Article 370 in the Parliament yesterday when Home Minister Amit Shah put up a proposal to dilute the discriminatory provision in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Article 370 has been stopping tourism and hospitality companies from opening their business in the state, thus keeping its population poor and in the mercy of a handful of politicians.
