After the BJP's decisive victory in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and victorious candidate from Okhla, Amanatullah Khan blamed the Congress and All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) for his party's defeat.

PM Modi lauded people of Delhi for their support to BJP in assembly polls and said they are feeling relief on making the national capital "AAP-da free".

"Today, all of you Delhiites have removed a major obstacle in the development of Delhi," PM Modi said.

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who arrived at Kannur Airport on Saturday morning said that she has not checked the trends of the counting of votes in the Delhi Assembly elections.

The results of the Delhi Assembly elections are coming out on Friday (8th February, 2025). In the trends so far, BJP seems to be returning to power in the National Capital after 27 years.
