The petitioner proposed to set up an Internal Complaints Committee at District Level to stop the rampant forced conversion rackets. The advocate said that the committee would act as a fact-finding committee with an appellate remedy before the concerned District Collector

The Madurai bench of the High Court said, "Mother Nature is accorded the rights akin to fundamental rights, legal rights, constitutional rights for its survival, safety, sustenance, and resurgence in order to maintain its status and also to promote its health and well-being."
