Pakistan has claimed to have taken 44 terrorists into 'preventive detention' for investigation. The terrorists include Mufti Abdul Raoof and Hamad Azhar, brother and son of Jaish-e-Muhammad chief Mashood Azhar.
The MEA source said, "stern action will be taken and firm decisions will be made by this Govt" while talking about Pakistan using its territory for terrorism against India
Pakistan may well be planting false reports of their terrorist's death or illness to take attention off Masood Azhar for a while until the climate is relatively safer for him to reemerge.
The Indian Express report suggests that the Jaish terrorists had undergone different training courses. The terrorists were trained with a three-month advance combat course called Daura-e-Khas and an advanced arms training course called Daura-Al-Raad, officials said.
Maulana Ammar said, "The enemy crossed over into Pakistan and launched attacks on our Islamic 'Markaz' (Centre). By doing so, the enemy has declared war upon our country."
Masood Azhar who is accused of orchestrating many terror attacks in India including the attack on the Indian Parliament in 2001 and the Pulwama attack in 2019 is undergoing treatment in Pakistan Army Hospital.
