Nuh violence

According to the Sushant Lok Extension Residents Welfare Association, the land was originally earmarked for the construction of a police station as per the demand of the local residents.

Islamists instigated their followers on social media with inflammatory posts asking them to attack Hindu processions.

Violence broke out in Haryana's Nuh on Monday, 31st July 2023, during the Jalabhishek Yatra taken out by Hindu organisations.

Bajrang Dal said Islamic jihadis pelted stones, indulged in violence, arson, and rained bullets on pilgrims of Shiv temple.

The Police also informed that FIRs are being registered in the matter and that strict action against the stone pelters will be taken. Tensions erupted in several parts of Haryana after stones were pelted at the Jalabhishek Yatra in the Muslim-majority region of Nuh, Mewat.

The contingent includes 4 companies of the CRPF, 2 companies of BSF, 2 companies of ITBP and 12 companies of RAF.

Two home guards have been killed in the violence unleashed by a Muslim mob in the Nuh area of Haryana during the Hindu religious procession.
