Aslam Shaikh alias Bunti Jahagirdar, an accused in the 2012 Pune serial bomb blasts case, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Shrirampur, Maharashtra. He was out on bail when attacked after attending a ritual.

The court stated that the alleged conspiracy orchestrated by the minor accused’s father and others to tamper with the blood sample to shield the minor accused amounted to an erosion of justice for the man and woman who lost their lives due to the minor boy’s reckless driving.

An FIR has been filed in a Pune land deal involving Ajit Pawar’s son, Parth. The case concerns ₹1,800 crore government land sold for ₹300 crore. CM Fadnavis has ordered a probe, and two officials have been suspended.

Zubair Hangargekar was one of 19 people whose homes and places of employment were raided by Maharashtra ATS on 9th October.

This comes after a video of some Muslim women offering namaz on 17th October at the fort built by Peshwa Bajirao went viral online. Following this, BJP MP Medha Kulkarni, along with her supporters, reached Shaniwar Wada, sprinkled cow urine, and performed Shiva Vandana. Earlier, Kulkarni wrote on social media, “We will not allow namaz to be offered at Shaniwar Wada. Hindu society has now awakened.”
