Sharad Pawar faction of NCP has taken a step back and said that largest opposition party can choose the leader of opposition

Sharad Pawar said, "PC Chacko, Jayant Patil, Supriya Sule, Fauzia Khan, and many of the members of the committee were not informed when Ajit Pawar faction held the meeting on June 30, no notice was issued for that meeting."

Ajit Pawar urged Sharad Pawar to step down and give a chance to the new generation, stating that he is 83 and should retire now
