On Wednesday, a special court in Jaipur had convicted four people for the 2008 Jaipur blasts, which killed nearly 80 people and left many others injured. The quantum of sentence was announced on Friday by the special court.
The DGP said terrorists have been going around in South Kashmir and threatening people by putting up posters. He hoped that they will be able to neutralise the threats in South Kashmir region.
In a tweet, the United States Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) commended India for utilising the new legal authority to "designate four notorious terrorists".
