‘I laughed so hard that my stomach aches’: Congress leader Ragini Nayak mocks Delhi terror attack victims with edited video

On 12th November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Lok Nayak Hospital to meet the victims of the blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, shortly after returning to the capital from a two-day trip to Bhutan. Nonetheless, a day later, the national spokesperson for the Congress party, Dr Ragini Nayak, opted to ridicule the meeting, laughing hysterically at the innocents who managed to survive the horrific incident.

“I laughed so hard that my stomach aches,” she expressed alongside laughing emojis, on an edited visual that included PM Modi with a victim, dubbed with a comedy routine from the late comedian Raju Srivastav.

The netizens reacted to her abhorrent behavior and called out her insensitivity regarding the critical matter. A person slammed, “You are making fun of a victim who survived a bIast. Have some shame.”

Another inquired whether the party and its youth wing, of which Ragini was a prominent leader, endorsed such offensive behavior. “What is so funny,” she added.

An individual suggested that she should not just laugh but even celebrate.

Thirteen persons were killed when a slow-moving white Hyundai i20 automobile exploded near the famous Red Fort at 6:50 pm on 10th November. Twenty people were hurt in the rush-hour tragedy that also destroyed many cars. The prime minister made a visit to meet and inquire about the recovery of the victims.

The explosion happened just hours after a “white collar” terror cell involving the Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind module, spanning Kashmir, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh was discovered, leading to the arrest of multiple individuals, including three Kashmiri doctors and the discovery of 2,900 kg of explosives.

The blast was triggerd in panic by another Kashmiri Dr Mohammad Umar un Nabi after the arrest of Adeel Ahmed Bhat, Muzammil Shakeel (Musaib Ganaie/Ganie) and Mohammad Arif alongside Dr Shaheen Saeed who had been appointed to oversee the foundation the JeM’s women wing, Jamaat ul-Mominaat, in India as well as find new members. The task was handed over to her by JeM supremo Masood Azhar’s sister Sadia Azhar.
