Cow protector Chandrashekhar, also known as Farsa Baba, who died in a road accident in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, was cremated on Saturday evening (March 21, 2026). A large number of his followers and associates were present during the last rites. Mathura District Magistrate Chandraprakash Singh and SSP Shlok Kumar also reached the site and made several important announcements.
According to District Magistrate Chandraprakash Singh, the accident occurred around 3:30 AM near the Haryana border amid dense fog. Baba, along with his followers, was inspecting a truck when another truck bearing a Rajasthan registration number rammed into them from behind, leading to his death. The driver of the truck involved in the accident also died during treatment.
The DM stated that government assistance will be provided to Baba’s cow shelter, and a memorial (samadhi) will be built at his cremation site. The administration also said that it will consider granting licenses to eligible and needy individuals.
Meanwhile, SSP Shlok Kumar assured that a police outpost will be established in the area in Baba’s name, and no innocent person will be targeted. He also warned that strict action will be taken against those spreading rumours.
