Manchester Police arrests 4 Muslim community members for brutally assaulting 3 airport staff and a police officer, viral video used to peddle ‘Islamophobia’ claims

On Wednesday, July 23, the Manchester Police arrested 4 individuals belonging to the Muslim community for assaulting an emergency staff at the Manchester Airport and obstructing police. The video of the incident is making rounds on social media where the police can be seen tackling them after the latter launched an attack on the police and the airport staff. However, the video is being used by Islamists to spread ‘Islamophobia’ claims saying that Police assaulted them because they are Muslims. Several mainstream media reports also reported the incident and said that they didn’t know what sparked the incident.

Notably, the Greater Manchester Police released a statement exposing the truth. “We know that our communities are rightly concerned by video footage which is being circulated online, that shows armed police officers responding to an incident at Manchester Airport. In advance of what is shown in the video, we were called to reports of an assault at Manchester Airport. The suspect was seen on CCTV at the ticket counter of the car park and the officers reached to arrest him,” the statement read.

Wasin Chaudhury, Assistant Chief Constable added, “During our response, three officers were assaulted, one female officer suffered a broken nose and the other officers were forced to the ground and suffered injuries that required hospital treatment.”

The police confirmed that 4 individuals accused of assault on airport staff and attack on police were arrested. However, several Islamists are spreading the video claiming that the Muslims were brutally assaulted by the Manchester police for belonging to a specific community.

The incident has sparked outrage in the community with Islamists demanding action against the officers or they will unleash protests like never seen before. The Islamists claim that the police unnecessarily arrested the Muslims, further claiming ‘Islamophobia’. Reportedly, the Islamists are making no mention of assault on the police or the airport staff after which the Muslim heads were forced to face such action by the police.

Others on X shared the video calling it brutal and demanding the strictest action against UK officers. “This is absolutely brutal and disgusting. Make this go viral These officers need to be fired,” a user on X claimed.

One Attiq Malik, who claims to be a criminal lawyer, also posted a video calling out the police action. “Enough is enough. This is not policing by consent. It’s time to put them in their place. This is brutal. This is not why we pay the council taxes,” he posted.

Notably, several Muslims reached the police station on 24th July evening, demanding the release of the accused persons who broke the nose of the female officer and attacked three others. The Muslim community protested and demanded action against the police instead.

Several media outlets also reported the incident claiming that the UK police brutally kicked the Muslim man’s head. However, they said that they actually didn’t know what sparked the incident.

Another similar report by Siasat Daily reported that a Muslim boy was kicked by the Greater Manchester Police.

However, the Greater Manchester Police shared the entire incident and said that the police were called by the Airport staff after an altercation at Terminal 2 of the Manchester Airport. The police reached the airport, checked the CCTV, and spotted the suspect at the ticket counter. The accused further attacked the police and broke the nose of a female police officer after which the police had to act.

On Wednesday, 24th July, pro-Palestine demonstrators removed the American flags from outside Union Station in Washington, DC, and replaced them with the Palestinian flags. The demonstrators assembled in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Washington, DC.

A US Park Police commander confirmed that two of the three American flags taken down by protesters were set on fire. The demonstration further resulted in road closures in the Capitol and Union Square locations. Protesters also burned an effigy of Netanyahu and demanded an end to US military funding to Israel during its ongoing crisis in Gaza.

Videos published online show the spectators chanting as the flags burnt, with some showing Netanyahu’s effigy in flames while demonstrators yelled “Free Palestine.” Protesters also painted many fountains on Capitol Hill crimson and projected messages onto buildings demanding Netanyahu’s arrest as a war criminal.

As seen in the videos shared online, the pro-Palestine protesters also dragged and assaulted a police officer on the bricks outside of Union Station. They also filmed replacing the US flag with the Palestinian flag before setting fire to the US flag.

A group named ‘Palestinian Youth Movement’ also released insects and worms in the Watergate Hotel where Netanyahu and his team were staying, and activated fire alarms through the night so that the visitors couldn’t sleep properly.

The United States Capitol Police reported that a portion of the audience turned “violent” and refused to heed directions. Officers used pepper spray, and social media footage showed confrontations between officers and agitators.

The White House took cognizance of the event and condemned the anti-Israel agitators who descended on Washington, D.C. “Identifying with evil terrorist organizations like Hamas, burning the American flag, or forcibly removing the American flag and replacing it with another, is disgraceful,” White House spokesperson Andrew Bates was quoted as saying.

“Antisemitism and violence are never acceptable. Period. Every American has the right to peaceful protest. But shamefully, not everyone demonstrated peacefulness today,” he added.

This is after Netanyahu addressed Congress on Wednesday, amid his country’s fight against Hamas, which has been ongoing since October. During his remarks, Netanyahu denounced the cease-fire demonstrations that have taken place across the United States since the war began.

“I have a message for these protesters. When the tyrants of Tehran, who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair, are praising, promoting, and funding you, you have officially become Iran’s useful idiots,” Netanyahu said.

“Some of these protesters hold up signs proclaiming ‘gays for Gaza.’ They might as well hold up signs saying, ‘Chickens for KFC.’ These protesters chant, ‘From the river to the sea,’ but many don’t have a clue what river and what sea they’re talking about,” he added.

So far, 23 have been arrested amid the protest. Police action is underway.

Kamlesh Tiwari murder case: Supreme Court Bench grants bail to Syed Asim Ali, the accused conspirator in the murder

On Thursday, July 25, a Supreme Court bench granted bail to Syed Asim Ali, accused of being the conspirator in the brutal murder of Hindu Samaj leader Kamlesh Tiwari. As per a Live Law report, the Bench of Justices Abhay S Oka and Augustine George Masih granted the bail to the accused.

The bench, while granting bail, observed that the accused has already been incarcerated for more than four and a half years. Apart from his time in prison, the Court noted that Asim Ali had no criminal antecedents and the UP Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 Act was not invoked against him.

Earlier, in April this year, the Allahabad High Court had denied bail to Syed Asim Ali in the Kamlesh Tiwari murder case. The Court had characterized the case as driven by intense communal animosity, ultimately resulting in the vicious daylight killing of Tiwari.

The Maharashtra ATS had arrested Asim Ali from  Nagpur, in the Kamlesh Tiwari murder case on October 21, 2019. He is a hardware shop owner and was reportedly constantly in touch with the other three accused Rashid, Mohsin, and Faizan, who were earlier detained by the UP Police, UP ATS and Gujarat Police. 

Kamlesh Tiwari murder

Kamlesh Tiwari, the Hindu Samaj Party leader was murdered in Lucknow on October 18, 2019, when the assailants came to meet him on the pretext of working for his outfit. He was murdered at his home in Naka Hindola area in Lucknow.

Kamlesh Tiwari, a former Hindu Mahasabha leader, was assassinated at his Lucknow office by Ashfaq and Moinuddin from Surat.

Kamlesh Tiwari was arrested by the then Akhilesh Yadav government for his remarks on Prophet Mohammad in 2015. Muslim groups in Deoband,  Saharanpur and West Bengal had launched massive riots and protests demanding Tiwari’s death.

Tiwari had remained in jail or over a year after the National Security Act was slapped on him. In September 2016, the Allahabad HC had finally quashed the NSA  charges against him and he was released later. The arrest and subsequent charges on Kamlesh Tiwari over remarks against Prophet Muhammad had caused an outrage in the nation, especially among Hindu groups.

Delhi High Court declines to stay release of Netflix show ‘Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper’ on ICAI’s defamation lawsuit, read what the court said

The Delhi High Court recently received a petition from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) seeking to prevent Netflix from releasing the series titled Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper. The show, which premiered on 18th July, was termed vulgar, sensationalized and disparaging of the chartered accountant profession, according to the ICAI. However, on 16th July, just two days before the series began streaming, the court refused to stay its release.

ICAI and three chartered accountants had submitted the lawsuit against the release of the show’s trailer on 10th July. Dr Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal, a Central Council Member of ICAI also took to X (earlier Twitter) to inform about the legal proceedings.

The case was heard by Judge Navin Chawla who listened to the arguments from both sides and watched the trailer after which he dismissed ICAI’s claim that the series denigrates chartered accountants (CAs) on the grounds that it does not refer to the field of chartered accounting. The court stated that it is merely the narrative of a single CA topper who also works in the sex industry. Hence, prima facie, the court is of the opinion that this show should not be banned.

The court pronounced, “It is a series which appears to be more in the genre of comedy, and merely describes the main character as a topper in the Chartered Accountancy Examination. It is neither intended nor can be perceived as derogatory to the profession of Chartered Accountancy or the toppers or rank holders in the examination conducted by ICAI.” The bench emphasized that an overly sensitive approach cannot justify restricting artistic expression, especially when it takes the shape of a commercial discourse.

“The artistic expression, even in the form of a commercial speech, cannot be curtailed on the basis of an oversensitive approach. I, therefore, do not find any prima facie case in favour of the plaintiffs for grant of an ad interim injunction in their favour at this stage,” the court said.

The court also pointed out observations of a similar 2020 case (Ashutosh Dubey v. Netflix) of an advocate which noted that granting an ad interim injunction would amount to interfering with the defendant’s constitutionally protected right to free speech and expression as well as highlighted, “The very essence of democracy is that a creative artist is given the liberty to project the picture of the society in a manner he perceives. One of the prime forms of exposing the ills of society is by portraying a satirical picture of the same. Stand-up comedians perform that very purpose. In their portrayal, they use satire and exaggerate the ills to an extent that it becomes a ridicule. In the humorous portrayal of the ills of society, the stand-up comedians use satire.”

The petitioners argued that the trailer depicted the field of chartered accounting in an incredibly crude and demeaning light. They added that ICAI had received emails protesting the trailer’s reportedly scandalous content, which included “unwarranted innuendos to the profession.” It was pointed out that the trailer’s description of the services provided by CAs as “debit and credit with reference to sexual services offered” was insulting to the field.

On the other hand, Sandeep Sethi, the legal counsel representing Netflix countered that the web series is entirely fictitious and a disclaimer clarifying that the show does not allude to any specific person, living or dead, appears at the beginning of the program. The streaming giant promised to include a disclaimer asserting that the series does not depict or make reference to any profession, within the next five days.

Background of the controversy

Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper is created by Puneet Krishna, co-creator of Prime Video’s popular “Mirzapur” series. It is set in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida and features Manav Kaul, Tillotama Shome, Shweta Basu Prasad, Sumit Gulati, Faisal Malik, and Ashok Pathak. Its plot centres on an accountant who gets involved in several escapades, including working as a gigolo for a while to pay off debts.

The trailer caused an immediate uproar when it was unveiled last week. Netizens and chartered accountants denounced Netflix and the producers for what they perceived as a provocative and slanderous depiction of the profession. The show, which gives little background information about its leading characters, depicts the protagonist, an honest government official who is living a normal life until financial pressure forces him into a controversial and unconventional field of work. The titular character, a chartered accountant played by Manav Kaul works as a gigolo at night to make ends meet.

CA professionals demanded that the title of the series be changed, claiming that it denigrates their industry. They maintained that it was unlawful and a violation of constitutional rights to depict something in such an offensive manner. “Ridiculous, madness, and shamelessness. Nowadays, CAs are a soft target for everyone, only to earn money and defame them. Now it is time for the torchbearer to do something extraordinary so that in the future, no one can easily defame CA,” Former ICAI president C.A. Anupam Sharma complained while voicing his disapproval as he reacted to an angry tweet by another miffed chartered account.

The series which received very little promotion has been grabbing headlines after the controversy and lawsuit filed in the Delhi High Court. ‘Boycott Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper’ also trended on social media after its trailer was released.

Reliance Industries gets US approval to continue crude oil import from Venezuela amid sanctions

In a significant development, Reliance Industries Ltd., India’s largest privately held oil refiner, has obtained US approval to resume importing oil from Venezuela amid White House sanctions against the country.

Notably, when President Nicolas Maduro and the opposition inked a deal to ensure free and fair elections last year, the United States temporarily lifted sanctions on the South American country’s gold and oil sectors. In April this year, the United States reimposed sanctions on Venezuela’s oil sector in reaction to President Nicolas Maduro’s alleged failure to achieve electoral commitments. The US, however, said that certain companies would be allowed to operate in Venezuela.

Before the United States placed oil sanctions on Venezuela in 2019, Reliance was the second-largest private buyer of Venezuelan crude oil, trailing only China’s China National Petroleum Corporation. Reliance had resubmitted a request to the United States in May for permission to import crude oil from Venezuela after the US Treasury declined to provide licenses to Indian refiners, including Reliance, following the lifting of sanctions in October.

The Indian refiners, however, continued purchasing Venezuelan oil through intermediaries until the sanctions were reimposed in June. India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has also requested a dispensation from the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control to import crude oil from Venezuela.

Ashiq Ali is the hero, Vikrant and Sunny forgotten: How Islamists choose heroes based on religion and how, it is done only to whitewash Jihadis, not because they respect their heroism

The Kanwar Yatra is a significant annual pilgrimage observed by devotees of Lord Shiva in India, primarily during the Hindu month of Shravan (July-August). The pilgrims, known as Kanwariyas, undertake a journey on foot to collect holy water from the Ganges River and carry it back to their local Shiva temples. This year Kanwar Yatra met with controversy after the Muzaffarnagar administration directed shopkeepers and cart owners to prominently display the names of the owners and workers.

During the Kanwar Yatra, the Kanwariyas are supposed to follow strict dietary practices. They cannot eat non-vegetarian food, onion or garlic. In short, they have consumed only pure vegetarian or ‘Satvik’ food. There have been several cases in past years where Muslims were found to be running eateries in Hindu Gods and Goddesses’ names. Their identity would only be revealed when someone pays them using a QR code. In such cases, the chances of altercations were high which could lead to law and order problems.

Keeping this in mind, Muzaffarnagar police issued a directive ordering all eatery owners and cart owners to display their names and their employee names prominently to prevent any confusion among Kanwariya.

The left-liberals and Islamists made a major hue and cry about this order calling it discriminatory.

Following the controversy, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, stepped in and issued orders to show the names of shopkeepers and cart owners across Kanwar Yatra Marg. Taking inspiration from UP, the Uttarakhand government also issued similar orders.

On 22nd July, the Supreme Court of India gave interim relief to petitioners against the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand directive asking shopkeepers, eateries, hotels, restaurants, dhabas etc to display their names and their workers’ names prominently outside the shop.

Now, for the last two days, this same bunch of Islamists and pseudo-liberals have been ranting and raving about a “Muslim” SDRF personnel saving a Kawariya from drowning. They have been insinuating, that Muslims, who are consistently discriminated against and stifled under the current ruling dispensation, are the ones who are selflessly saving Hindu devotees.

Without a doubt, on July 23rd, Ashiq Ali, the head constable of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), who is stationed at Kangra Ghat near Har Ki Pairi, saved the life of a Kanwariya who was drowning. He is a public servant who was doing his job. What is unsettling, though, is that these Islamists and pseudo-liberals highlighted only this incident to make the Muslim personnel appear heroic. In reality, a similar incident occurred on July 24th, in which some Hindu divers and SDRF personnel also saved the lives of some other Kanwariyas, which this particular cabal conveniently overlooked.

The truth is that Islamists and the entire liberal ecosystem have developed this penchant for selecting heroes based on religion, though they do so primarily to whitewash crimes committed by Jihadis rather than out of admiration for their valour. But before delving into this, first, let us understand what actually happened.

On July 23rd, the Uttarakhand police took to X to share how SDRF jawan HC Ashiq Ali saved a Kanwariya from drowning at the Kangra Ghat in Haridwar.

The very next day, on July 24th, the Uttarakhand police again took to X to post a similar news. This time they mentioned how SI Atul Singh, diver Sunny Kumar and Vikrant saved a Kanwariya, a resident of Farrukhabad, from drowning.

The regular bunch of Islamists and the so-called seculars descended on X and selectively picked up the incident from the 23rd, where SDRF jawan HC Ashiq Ali saved a Kanwariya from drowning. While Ashiq Ali was hailed a saviour and a hero, the posts made no mention of SI Atul Singh, diver Sunny Kumar, or Vikrant, who had shown comparable bravery by rescuing another Kanwariya from drowning.

“Good news story of hope: how head constable Ashiq Ali saved a Kanwar yatri from drowning in the swollen Ganga waters. This is REAL India! Jai ho,” posted  ‘journalist’ Rajdeep Sardesai.

Mohammed Zubair, the co-founder of Alt News and self-identified fact-checker, who has regularly whitewashed jihadi violence, was also quick to selectively pick up only the news of the Muslim personnel coming to the rescue of a drowning Kanwariya.

Notably, Mohammed Zubair shot to fame in 2022 when thousands of Islamists came out on the streets in different parts of the country baying for the blood of Nupur Sharma, former BJP spokesperson, who found herself at the centre of a raging storm after Mohammed Zubair shared an incomplete video of her, accusing her of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad. 

Besides peddling propaganda and instigating Islamists, Zubair is also infamous for peddling fake news. There are countless incidents when Zubair was caught lying, an indicative list of which can be read here.

Last year, when Islamists pelted stones at a group of Kanwariyas near Shahnoori mosque in the Jogi Nawada locality in Bareilly city of Uttar Pradesh it was Zubair who had shared a cropped video of the incident to give the impression that it was not the Muslim mob that attacked the Kanwariyas.

Similarly, Barkha Dutt’s Mojo Story also selectively shared the news about the Muslim personnel saving a Hindu devotee.

Likewise, several Islamists and loyal members of this liberal ecosystem selectively picked up this news to pontificate over the importance of maintaining ‘Hindu-Muslim bhaichara’ (brotherhood) and ‘Ganga-Jamuni’ tehzeeb (the peaceful coexistence of two different communities – Hindus and Muslims) in India.

In all these posts, Ashiq Ali was turned into the hero, but Vikrant and Sunny did not even find a mention. The reality, however, is very different from what the unaided eye perceives. Given that these are the same Islamists and liberals who characterize such Muslim officers as “sarkari Muslims” for not toeing their radical line, the purpose of applauding this Muslim officer’s bravery was not about the man himself. In actuality, it is about using his heroism to whitewash the crimes committed by Jihadis.

Their hypocrisy is evident in the way they disregard Hindu heroes, hail Muslim police personnel, turn a blind eye to Hindu victims, and place the blame on Hindu victims even when the culprits are Muslims. They see caste in jawans and religion when someone saves a Kanwariya but conveniently look away when those who save others are Hindus.

Here, it is also important to remember that these Islamists who are, today, hailing a Muslim for saving Kanwariyas are the ones who have conveniently turned a blind eye to the gruesome attacks carried out at these Kanwariyas and other hindu devotees by their co-religionists.

Over the years, there have been several such heinous attacks carried out by radical Islamists on Hindus, their festivals and places of worship. Be it attacks carried out during Hindu festivals like Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti, Saraswati Puja, Navaratri and Kanwar Yatras, such acts of violence are driven by the intrinsic animosity Islamists harbour against Hindus.

‘Gays for Gaza’ is like ‘Chickens for KFC’: Israel’s PM Netanyahu slams supporters of Hamas during address at US Congress, calls for an ‘Abraham Alliance’

On 24th July (local time) Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, delivered a powerful and emotional speech before a joint session of Congress. He emphasised the unbreakable bond between the US and Israel. PM Netanyahu urged the US to continue its support as Israel faces escalating threats from Iran and its proxies. Notably, this was the fourth time PM Netanyahu has addressed the Congress.

PM Netanyahu opened his address by highlighting the global challenges and the critical crossroads at which the world stands in today’s time. He particularly focused on the threats posed by Iran. He said, “We meet today at a crossroads of history. Our world is in upheaval. In the Middle East, Iran’s axis of terror confronts America, Israel, and our Arab friends.” Speaking on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, he deemed it as a battle between “barbarism and civilisation” rather than calling it a regional issue.

He recounted the horrifying terrorist attack of 7th October 2023 by Hamas. PM Netanyahu drew parallels between last year’s attack with other infamous dates in history including 7th December 1941 and 11th September 2001. Describing the terrorist attack, he said, “Three thousand Hamas terrorists stormed into Israel. They butchered 1,200 people from 41 countries, including 39 Americans. They raped women, beheaded men, burnt babies alive, and killed parents in front of their children.” Emphasising the scale of the attack, he noted, “Proportionately, compared to our population size, that’s like 20 9/11s in one day.”

Expressing his deep gratitude to US President Joe Biden for his unwavering support, PM Benjamin Netanyahu highlighted Biden’s condemnation of Hamas as “sheer evil” and President Biden’s decisive actions including dispatching aircraft carriers to the Middle East. He said, “President Biden and I have known each other for over forty years. I want to thank him for half a century of friendship with Israel and for being, as he says, a proud Zionist.” PM Netanyahu also praised President Biden for his visit to Israel amidst ongoing war stating it would never be forgotten.

One of the rescued hostages from Gaza was present in the gallery. He introduced her during her address and shared the story of her abduction and rescue operation authorised by him. He said, “Noa, we’re so thrilled to have you with us today. Thank you.” Noa was abducted on 7th October 2023 by Hamas terrorists. The video of Noa yelling “Don’t kill me” haunted the world. She was rescued by Israeli forces on 8th June 2024, 245 days after the abduction from an Al-Jazeera-affiliated journalist, Abdullah Al-Jamal’s house.

Netanyahu also honoured Israeli heroes including Lieutenant Avichail Reuven, Master Sergeant Ashraf al Bahiri and Lieutenant Asa Sofer.

He addressed the rise of antisemitism and anti-Israel protests and condemned those who supported Hamas. He said, “For all we know, Iran is funding the anti-Israel protests that are going on right now outside this building… When the Tyrants of Tehran… are praising, promoting, and funding you, you have officially become Iran’s useful idiots.” He criticised the academic institutions for failing to condemn antisemitic rhetoric and emphasised the historical context of such hatred and its far-reaching consequences. He said, “The outrageous slanders that paint Israel as racist and genocidal are meant to delegitimize Israel, to demonize the Jewish State and to demonize Jews everywhere.” PM Netanyahu highlighted that antisemitism is the “world’s oldest hatred” and it has continued to manifest in new and dangerous ways.

PM Benjamin Netanyahu also pointed out the irony of some protest slogans such as “Gays for Gaza” highlighted the severe persecution of the LGBTQ community in regions controlled by Hamas and other Islamic groups. Mocking the slogan, he said, “They might as well hold up signs saying ‘Chickens for KFC,” implying that LGBTQs supporting Hamas are as self-destructive as chickens supporting their slaughter for fried chicken.

He reassured Israel’s commitment to self-defence and its strategic importance in countering the ambitions of Iran. He said, “When Israel acts to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons… we’re not only protecting ourselves. We’re protecting you.”

Calling for a new “Abraham Alliance” inspired by the Abrahan Accords, he urged to unite countries in peace with Israel against common threats. He proposed, “All countries that are in peace with Israel and all those countries who will make peace with Israel should be invited to join this alliance.” He also thanked the former President of the United States and candidate for the upcoming President Elections, Donald Trump, for his leadership in brokering the historic Abraham Accords. He acknowledged the efforts of the former President in recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and supporting the sovereignty of Israel over the Golan Heights.

Towards the end, PM Benjamin Netanyahu expressed hope for the future and envisioned a transformed Middle East. He emphasised the potential for peace and prosperity in a post-war Gaza and called for its demilitarisation and deradicalisation. He said, “A new generation of Palestinians must no longer be taught to hate Jews but rather to live in peace with us.” While drawing parallels between the post-WWII reconstruction of Germany and Japan with the possible rejuvenation of Gaza after the Israel-Hamas war, he suggested that similar efforts could lead to lasting peace in the region.

On Wednesday, 24th July, Uttar Pradesh Police began an investigation into a case after they recovered the dead body of a teenage girl in Meerut district. The dead body was recovered from the street across the Ganeshpur forest. As per the local reports, the girl had been murdered after being brutally gang raped allegedly by 4 individuals identified as Haseen, Shahrukh, Ikramuddin and Mohsin.

The police confirmed the incident and said that the parents of the girl had filed a missing person complaint. “The girl had been missing for a week. The dead body was identified by the parents of the girl. They also suspected 4 individuals in the case. The primary suspect in the case has been detained by the police and is being interrogated. The dead body of the girl has been sent for post morterm,” the police statement read.

As per the local reports, the girl was gang raped by the 4 suspects identified by the family of the girl. They abducted her, gang-raped her, and then murdered her by inserting an iron rod in her private parts. The suspects also burned the face of the girl by pouring acid on it.

The father of the deceased girl told the police that on 21st July, he and his wife had gone to the hospital when their teenage daughter was alone at home. He said that Haseen then entered their home and abducted the girl. The missing complaint by the parents of the girl was then filed on 22nd July.

The parents of the girl identified the dead body of their daughter and claimed that she had been allegedly murdered by Haseen, Shahrukh, Ikramuddin and Mohsin after gang rape. They have demanded strict punishment against the suspected individuals.

As per the police statement, no complaint has yet been filed by the police. The primary suspect in the case has been detained and is being interroagted.

UP: Lakme Academy director Rakshanda Khan booked for pressuring Hindu trainees to marry Muslims and convert to Islam in Moradabad

In the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh, the director of beauty and makeup institute Lakme Academy has been booked under relevant sections after two Hindu trainees accused her of coercing them to befriend Muslim youths and convert to Islam. On 22nd July, two Hindu girls Tanya Chaudhary and Swati Pal submitted a complaint to District Collector Anuj Singh against Lakme Academy director Rakshanda Khan.

The duo alleged that Sapna alias Rakshanda Khan used to encourage Hindu girls to befriend Muslim boys and do Nikah with them after converting to Islam. They also alleged that Rakshanda used to keep Hindu girls in groups with Muslim boys at the academy situated on Kanth Road. The duo said that Rakshanda Khan was originally a Hindu, however, converted to Islam before marrying a Muslim man named Shahnawaz Khan 17 years ago.

“Lakme Academy located on Kanth Road teaches makeup, hair and skin treatment. Many different courses are being run for this. Almost all the boys in the academy are Muslim and most of the girls are Hindu. They encourage Hindu girls to make friendship with these Muslim boys. Rakshanda Khan has launched a campaign for this.”

In their complaint, Tanya and Sawati alleged that Rakshanda used to tell Hindu girls at the makeup institute that she was a Hindu but married a Muslim man and there was no problem with that. “I was also a Hindu earlier, but now I am a Muslim. I am living in a Muslim’s house. There is no problem in marrying Muslim boys,” Khan allegedly said.

“At the time of admission, we were told that meat and fish are completely prohibited in the academy, but Muslim boys bring meat and fish here every day and eat in front of everyone,” Tanya Chaudhary said.

Meanwhile, Swati Pal said that accused Rakshanda Khan abuses the Hindu religion and that Hindu girls who do not obey her are harassed.

Furthermore, Pal claimed that accused Rakshanda Khan has banned Hindu students from wearing bindi, tika, sindoor on forehead and mangalsutra around the neck. If any married girl comes wearing a mangalsutra and sindoor, she does not allow her to enter the institute. On the other hand, Muslim students and Muslim trainers have the freedom to offer namaaz in the academy itself.”

The complainants alleged that Rakshanda Khan predominantly hired Muslim men and Hindu women as staff.

On the complaint of the three Hindu trainees two women Tanya and Swati and one man Jatin, Moradabad Police has booked Rakshanda Khan under Sections 299 (deliberate and malicious acts to outrage religious feelings), 351(2) (criminal intimidation), and 318(1) (dishonest concealment of facts) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Civil Lines Police Station has launched an investigation into the matter.

Other than religious conversion attempts, the complainants claimed Khan committed fraud by substituting original high-quality items with inferior equivalents, resulting in skin concerns for trainees along with clients.

On 23rd July, Bajrang Dal activists protested outside the academy, the Lakme franchise. The Hindu activists burned an effigy of Rakshanda Khan and recited the Hanuman Chalisa outside the academy. Bajrang Dal activists have sought strict action against accused Rakshanda Khan and demanded that her institute be sealed. In addition, the police should ensure that the students receive a refund of their fees.

Notably, nearly a year ago, a Hindu student at the Lakme Academy in Moradabad named Raj Rana had accused Rakshanda of forcing him to convert to Islam. He alleged that instead of teaching the course, Rakshanda preaches Islam. “Rakshanda says that if Islam is not good, then why do so many Hindus visit tombs? Why is there not so much uproar when a Muslim girl converts and becomes a Hindu?” the student alleged.

Majid Freeman formally charged with encouraging terrorism: Instigator of 2022 anti-Hindu Leicester violence whose links to ISIS and Al Qaeda OpIndia had exposed

Muslim ‘activist’ Majid Freeman, who had spread lies and misinformation about the role of Hindus in the 2022 anti-Hindu Leicester riots, has been charged with inciting terrorism and lending support to the proscribed terrorist organization, Hamas. Freeman, who was arrested on July 9th last year on suspicion of counter-terrorism offences, including encouraging acts of terrorism had appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 24.

Birgitte Hagem, for the prosecution, asserted that Majid Novsarka, also known as Majid Freeman stated views or beliefs that were in favour of Hamas, a banned terrorist organization, on a number of occasions between December 26 of last year and June 20. She described the alleged offences as “serious”. 

The court was also informed that Majid Freeman is accused of encouraging individuals to carry out, plan, or incite acts of terrorism on social media on March 11, 2015, in reference to the 2015 murderous attack on the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo.

The defendant, who was taken into custody on July 9 after an investigation by East Midlands Counter Terrorism Police, spoke only to verify his identity, age, and address; he made no pleas.

Novsarka was given conditional bail, which means he has to stay at home. He was also ordered to refrain from posting on social media.

Freeman will next appear at the Old Bailey on August 16.

Majid Freeman, the fanatic who was at the forefront of instigating violence against Hindus in Leicester

Majid Freeman is a local  Leicester Muslim “activist” who is known to harbour problematic and extremist Islamic views. Throughout the Leicester violence, Majid was at the forefront of spreading fake news that instigated violence against Hindus. 

It was on 28 August 2022 that a scuffle broke out after India defeated Pakistan in a T20 match after the Indian flag was desecrated. After the scuffle, Hindus had even calmed the situation down and tended to the individual who had snatched and desecrated the Indian flag. Majid Freeman, however, had a different story to tell. 

On the 30th of August, after the  Leicester police got influenced by the Muslim organisations and lied about “death to Muslims” being chanted by Hindus (they later clarified their investigation found no such chants were heard), Majid took to Twitter to rabble-rouse against Hindus.

On the 30th itself, he lied about Quran being desecrated in  Leicester, insinuating that the Hindus had committed this act. However, OpIndia tried to verify these claims. 

There was another incident that was cited by Majid Freeman to claim that Hindus had been attacking Muslims. He claimed that a mob of 30+ Hindus had chased and assaulted a Muslim teenager. When confirmed, it turned out that while the Muslim organisations had claimed this, no video evidence was submitted to the police and no investigation was underway, OpIndia was told by Insight UK.

On the 4th of September, when the violence against Hindus started with mobs hunting them down in their houses and on the streets, Majid Freeman took to Twitter to dog-whistle against Hindus again.

From the 4th to the 7th of September, Muslim mobs went on a rampage against Hindus. On the 4th of September, when Majid tweeted and dog-whistled, the Muslim mob went on a rampage unprovoked while the Hindus were celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. Eggs were thrown when Hindu symbols were spotted and where Ganesh puja was being held. A Hindu man was dragged out of his home and stabbed, when his aunt ran out of the house to defend him, she was injured because the Muslim mob punched and beat her.

On the 12th of September, a dangerous lie started. It was alleged that Hindu men had attempted to abduct a Muslim girl while she was going to school. 

After the story went viral, aided by Majid Freeman, the Hindu man started getting threats from Islamists since they had outed his car number, his location and his picture.

On the 14th of September, the  Leicester police confirmed that the news was fake. 

In fact, another lie that was circulated by Majid Freeman and his Islamist cohorts was that a Mosque was attacked by Hindus during their peaceful protest. The Leicester police confirmed that no such mosque was attacked, however, they did confirm that a Hindu temple had been vandalised.

Besides being the key instigator of the 2022 anti-Hindu riots, Majid has also encouraged European Muslims to “do jihad in Syria,” and has promoted “tributes” to the late Al Qaeda terrorist Anwar Al-Awlaki on his Twitter and Facebook accounts. OpIndia had, in fact, exposed Majid Freeman’s links with ISIS and organisations connected to Al Qaeda and IHH.
