What anti-CAA protests revealed: It’s not the ‘puncturewala’ but the ‘IIT-IIM wala’ that Hindus need to be wary of

Social media was abuzz on Monday when poet Hussain Haidry tweeted about ‘Hindu Terrorists’. He did not say much apart from ‘Hindu Terrorists’ but merely repeated the same two words eleven times. He said using these two words is important. Along expected lines, the tweet garnered much outrage and since then, it appears he has deleted his account.

Hussain Haidry, a poet and writer who is also working with Bollywood Director Karan Johar in his new period drama ‘Takht’, is a rabid Islamist who fantasizes about violence. In the past, he has made several tweets that hinted towards his desire to kill people. More recently, Haidry incited violence and urged people to beat up Upper Caste Hindus with slippers.

Hussain Haidry’s ‘Hindu Terrorist’ tweet

Hussain Haidry has been making such problematic tweets ever since the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Act. In the aftermath of the violence at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) between two groups of students, Haidry deemed it to be an instance of ‘state-sponsored Hindu terrorism’ and ‘Hindu-sponsored state terrorism’.

Hussain Haidry’s Hinduphobic tweet

Apart from such cases, Hussain Haidry has also ranted about ‘Brahminism’ and ‘Brahminical Hegemony’. It is just a convenient ruse invented by Hinduphobic bigots to target Hinduism under the cloak of targeting one particular caste. It also provides them with the opportunity to weaken Hinduism by fomenting tensions between different castes.

Hussain Haidry’s tweet on Brahminism

Hussain Haidry is one of those individuals who appear to have lost their good senses following the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Act. Since then, such people have justified the harassment people have suffered due to the said protests and whitewashed the massive damage to public property these protests have caused. And one phenomenon that is observable from the surface is the fact that people whitewashing the violence and justifying the harassment are all well educated or come from financially sound backgrounds. And it does say a lot about the nature of Islamist movements.

For quite some time, it has been clear that the leaders of terrorist outfits and radicalized individuals are, more often than not, well educated and come from well-to-do families. From Osama bin Laden to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the higher ranks of terrorist outfits have always been filled by highly educated individuals.

Closer home, we have Sharjeel Imam, a student of Modern Indian History who is highly radicalized and wishes to turn India into an Islamic country. He masterminded the anti-CAA Shaheen Bagh protests and wished to cut off North East India from the rest of the country. Now he is rotting in prison. However, Sharjeel Imam is not the only such person.

The two-nation theory that formed the basis for the creation of Pakistan and the partition of India was propounded by the founder of the Aligarh Muslim University. Muhammad Ali Jinnah himself was a barrister, Muhammad Iqbal, another proponent of the two-nation theory, was a philosopher and a barrister, in addition to being a poet. The Radical Islamic Movement for the creation of Pakistan was led by well educated Muslims and the genocide and civil war that ensued was a consequence of their actions.

Even in present times, Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the AIMIM, is an extremely well-educated man. Owaisi may trot around as a secular individual but a man is known by the company he keeps. His brother Akbaruddin issued the now infamous 15-minute threat and a senior leader of his party, Waris Pathan, recently gave the 15 crores Musalman threat. Thus, this is a recurring phenomenon.

Apart from politicians, there are well-to-do Muslims in other avenues who struggle hard for the victory of the Ummah. There are journalists such as Rana Ayyub and Arfa Khanum Sherwani who engage in propaganda to rationalize and justify and whitewash the mob violence committed by the people from the Muslim community in pursuit of Radical Islamist objectives. Rana Ayyub, in particular, has somehow managed to gain significant prominence in western circles. One can safely speculate that the American Deep State had a major role to play in her sudden rise to fame.

In addition to all of this, there are numerous students’ organizations that work towards the success of the Ummah. The Students Islamic Organization (SIO) played a prominent role to play in the recent anti-CAA riots that were unleashed all across the country. The investigative agencies are also looking into the links between Sharjeel Imam and the Islamic Youth Federation (IYF), another Islamist organization that believes ‘la ilaha illallah’ means there is no sovereign apart from Allah. It is a hint towards the organization’s belief that India is not a sovereign country and Allah is paramount.

Such developments are in contravention of established Marxist notions regarding the cause of terrorism. The materialist view of the world posits that terrorism is motivated by economic deprivation in most parts and economic empowerment of the deprived sections of society would go a long way in curbing the menace of terrorism. Another closely related theory proposes that social marginalization also prompts the youth to join the ranks of terrorist organizations. However, such theories are at odds with observable reality.

A casual glance at the nature of terrorist outfits makes it clear that the higher ranks are almost always occupied by highly educated individuals from well-to-do families. It is only the footsoldiers who are, most often, from the unwashed masses. This contradicts the materialistic view of the world that does not accord enough credit to the ideological motivations of terrorism.

Terrorism, in this respect, is similar to all mass movements. Every movement needs leaders who have the necessary credentials to lead a movement. The masses will not follow just about anyone, it is important that the masses believe that the leaders of the movement are capable of delivering them success. And through the ages, wealth and education have been two prominent attributes through which the masses judge the capability of the leaders. It’s only natural because wealth and education are two of the biggest indicators of success in life and hence, the capability of the individual concerned.

All the biggest movements in the history of humanity have been led by people from the nobility or those who are generally wealthy. There might have been a few leaders who do not conform to this theory but they are the exceptions and not the rule. The Indian Independence Movement was led by educated individuals, the Ram Janmabhoomi Movement was led by educated individuals and India Against Corruption (IAC) movement, if we can call it such, was led by educated individuals from well-to-do families.

In the United States, the populist revolt against the mainstream political establishment of both parties is being led by extremely rich individuals. The revolt against the Republican Establishment was led by the billionaire Donald Trump and that against the Democratic Establishment is led by a millionaire socialist Bernie Sanders. People might claim that Narendra Modi, due to his background as a Chaiwallah, does not conform to this rule. However, when he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he was no longer a Chaiwallah. He was a crucial member of one of the biggest national parties in India.

Similarly, the Radical Islamic anti-CAA protests have been led by educated Muslims and those from well-to-do families. The PFI has played an important role in these protests. The Jamia Milia Islamic University and the Aligarh Muslim University are prominent institutions where violence has been witnessed. It is also pertinent to mention that the violence at the national capital broke out only days after Ladeeda Sakhaloon, one of Barkha Dutt’s ‘sheroes’ from Jamia, gave a call for Jihad. Sakhaloon also glorified genocidal maniacs who were responsible for the massacre of Hindus during the Moplah massacres. The Shaheen Bagh protests, the biggest anti-CAA effort, was masterminded by Sharjeel Imam, another highly educated individual.

The foremost responsibility of the leaders of any movement is to keep the masses united. Without capable leaders, the masses will bicker among themselves and will lose every single time. It is the leader who forges a unity between the masses and convinces them towards achieving a common goal. Without capable leaders, a movement is destined to fail. In this respect, terrorism is not much different from other movements.

It is precisely for this reason that people like Sharjeel Imam and Asaduddin Owaisi and Hussain Haidry are far bigger threats to the Indian Union and the Hindu Civilization than the neighbourhood Islamist who fixes people’s punctured tires. The neighbourhood Islamist will never be capable of leading any organized effort towards establishing an Islamic Caliphate. Those efforts could only ever be led by educated people or people from well-to-do families such as the ones mentioned above.

It is the educated Islamists who feed the unwashed masses with relentless propaganda and recruit them for the success of the Ummah. It is the educated Islamist who indoctrinate them with supremacist notions such as ‘We ruled over you for 800 years’, something that is preposterous and obviously not true, and indoctrinates them into a cult of victimhood so as to turn them into footsoldiers for their nefarious agenda.

Sharjeel Imam is an IIT-graduate studying in JNU, Hussain Haidry studied in IIM-Indore. Terrorism, when the multiple layers shrouding it in a cloak of mystery are removed, is War. And wars are led and won by generals and commanders, not the ‘puncturewaala’. It is not elitism but an observable fact. And it is for this very reason, the Indian Union must be wary of educates Islamists for it is them who will ensure that Radical Islamic outfits never run out of footsoldiers for their war.

Read: Here are four incidents at Shaheen Bagh that show the true Jihadi nature of anti-caa protests, if riots weren’t proof enough

The Indian Union must always be more wary of Radical Islamists of the Hussain Haidry and Sharjeel Imam variety than the average ‘puncturewaala’. In ordinary discourse, ‘puncturewaala’ is obviously a pejorative insult and ought to be avoided but this is essentially used to ensure that Islamists who have a superiority complex and claim that they ‘ruled you for 800 years’, it might be the only cure. It is not literally the next shop puncturewala that has this mentality, but the Imams and Haidrys, who may not say so openly, but their mentality, as evidenced several times is supremacist and dangerous.

The “puncturewala” jibe is essentially to shut the Islamist supremacists up who claim their superiority over Hindus when they say they ruled for 800 years and is essentially used to tell them that they are no rulers.

The educated Islamists goad the ‘puncturewaalas’ into committing violence by constantly feeding them a toxic mix of perpetual victimhood and Islamic supremacy. While an honest investigation into history shows that ‘We ruled you for 800 years’ is complete bollocks, it is only helpful with people willing to learn. For the average ‘puncturewaala’ who is driven by supremacist indoctrination, a reminded of his current fortunes could help in getting rid of his delusions, as it is too much optimism to expect Islamic supremacists to be willing to learn authentic Indian history.

After head constable is killed in stone pelting by anti-CAA Islamists, Jamia ‘students’ to protest against ‘police brutality’ in Delhi

0

Delhi has been under siege by Islamists protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) that seeks to expedite citizenship for persecuted religious minorities like Hindus, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs and Christians from neighbouring Islamic nations. A Delhi police constable has lost his life in the riots that have ensued in Delhi in wake of the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Another DCP has been injured during clashes between two groups in Delhi’s Gokulpuri.

The deceased policeman has been identified as Head Constable Ratan Lal. He lost his life during the violence in North East Delhi after he was injured during the stone-pelting in the anti-CAA protests.

While the riots by anti-CAA Islamists and the stone pelting has caused the death of a head constable, unsurprisingly, the ‘students’ of Jamia have now planned a protest march against “police brutality” in Delhi.

CNN News 18 journalist, who has been reporting on the demands of Islamists extensively confirmed that the students of Jamia have decided to assemble at New Police Headquarters at 6:30 PM today to protest against ‘police brutality’ and ‘mob violence’.

This, even as a head constable has died and a DCP has been seriously injured due to the violence unleashed by Islamist mobs in Delhi.

The violence comes two days after a group of over 500 Muslim women gathered near the Jafrabad Metro Station and blocked road No. 66, which connects Seelampur to Maujpur and Yamuna Vihar. They were protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC). The protestors warned that the road would be blocked until CAA is revoked. The police tried to negotiate with the demonstrators to clear the road, but it was in vain. It resulted in traffic woes and massive security deployment in the area.

The Shaheen Bagh model of blocking roads and causing public inconvenience, in an attempt to force the Government to revoke CAA, was replicated at Jafrabad Metro Station. Fuelled by Islamic supremacy, the protestors at Shaheen Bagh had been on a sit-in protest for the past 2.5 months, thereby leading to job losses and traffic woes. And now, it appears, the streets of Delhi have descended into chaos.

It is also pertinent to note that posters demanding the release of radical Islamist Sharjeel Imam had cropped up inside Jamia just a few days ago. Sharjeel Imam is said to be the mastermind behind the Jamia riots and also the Shaheen Bagh protest by Islamists. He had made statements where he wanted to choke Chickens Neck and break up India by cutting off Assam and the Northeast. The Delhi police have mentioned Imam’s name as one of the instigators behind the Jamia Nagar violence on December 15. After hiding for days, Imam was finally nabbed by Delhi police in Bihar’s Jehanabad on January 28.

It is also important to note that Jamia Millia Islamia was the epicentre from where the anti-CAA riots broke out. The attack unleashed by the Muslim mobs inside the Jamia Millia Islamia university during the anti-CAA protests has caused injuries to as many as 62 police personnel and 127 other citizens, said MoS Home G Kishan Reddy in Lok Sabha. Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy also informed that the Delhi Police had entered the university campus chasing the violent congregation of students/mob, to nab/disperse the offenders, control the situation and to protect the government property as well as saving the lives of innocent students residing in the area.

Violence has erupted across the national capital again as anti-CAA protesters escalated their efforts to spread anarchy in Delhi. A petrol pump has been set on fire at Bhajanpura in East Delhi and many vehicles have been burnt. The situation in Delhi remains tense.

Interlocutors appointed by the apex Court in Shaheen Bagh case submit report in a sealed cover

0

Senior advocates Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran who were appointed as “interlocutors” and tasked with the responsibility of convincing the Shaheen Bagh protestors to shift to an alternate site have reportedly submitted their report in a sealed cover on Monday in the Supreme Court.

Two petitions were filed in the apex court, seeking clearance of Shaheen Bagh area and the Kalindi Kunj Road. The first petition had been filed by lawyer and activist, Amit Sahni while the other one had been filed by BJP leader Nand Kishore Garg.

The latter wanted a copy of the interlocutor’s report but the permission was denied on the grounds that it was for Court’s perusal only. The report was filed in accordance with the Supreme court’s order on February 17.

Another interlocutor, Wajahat Habibullah, who was a former Chief Information Commissioner had also filed an affidavit alleging that the police had been unnecessarily blocking various roads and that the blame was being placed ‘wrongly’ on the Shaheen Bagh protestors. The hearing had been adjourned till Wednesday (February 26).

On February 10, the apex court observed that there must be a designated site to carry out such protests and raised concerns about whether public inconvenience can be caused by blocking roads indefinitely. A Bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde also took suo motu cognisance over the death of a 4-month-old at the protest site.

It was reported that the Shaheen Bagh protestors had put up seven conditions to the Supreme Court-appointed interlocutors to decide on vacating the protest site, which they have illegally occupied since December 15, 2019. The conditions include providing an alternative protest venue within Shaheen Bagh itself and withdrawal of all cases against Jamia students. The protestors had also demanded that there should be no NPR exercise in Delhi.

Shaheen Bagh has become the new Mecca for Anti-CAA demonstration. The protests fuelled by Islamic supremacy has also caused unprecedented traffic woes for daily commuters. 250 Retail stores and commercial outlets have been shut for the past two and a half months in the adjoining areas, thereby affecting the livelihood of 3000 workers and a loss of ₹150 crores.

After partially opening the Noida-Faridabad road, a group of over 500 Muslim women gathered near the Jafrabad Metro Station and blocked road No. 66, which connects Seelampur to Maujpur and Yamuna Vihar.

Islamic terrorism, Defence Deal, Pakistan, China: 6 key takeaways from US President Donald Trump speech during India visit

Addressing a rapturous crowd of over lakh people at the newly constructed Motera stadium in Ahmedabad, the United States President Donald Trump in his speech praised India to the skies for inspiring the world with its phenomenal growth story during his visit.

Here are the key takeaways from President Donald Trump’s historic visit at the Motera stadium in Ahmedabad:

America loves India, respects India and will always remain faithful and loyal to the Indian people

Heaping praise on India, the American president Donald Trump asserted that the rise of India in the last seven decades has been remarkable, highlighting the pace at which the country has progressed in the last two decades. “The people of India are an inspiration to the rest of the world,” Trump said.

Trump lauds India’s growth story while taking a jibe at China’s repressive controls

“India’s rise is an example for every nation in the world, all the more inspiring as you have done it as a democracy, as a peaceful country. There is a difference between a country that rises through coercion, intimidation and putting strong control on its people and one that provides the freedom to its people and enables them to unleash their creativity,” said US President Donald Trump.

This comment by US President Trump applauding India is being seen as an indirect jibe at China which is known for its crippling coercive policies.

Praise for Bollywood and a special shout out to Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli

“This is a country that nearly produces 2000 movies annually from the hub of genius and creativity that is Bollywood. All over the planet people take great joy in watching Bollywood films, bhangra, and classic films like DDLJ and Sholay. You cheer on great cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli”, said President Trump.

He acknowledged India’s robust film industry and India’s contribution to the world of cricket by producing players like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.

PM Modi underscores the limitless promise of India: President Donald Trump

Extolling PM Modi for his inspiring story from being a tea-seller to becoming the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy, Trump said that PM Modi’s remarkable rise emphasises the boundless promise and opportunity India has. He also lauded PM Modi for electrifying India with every village in the country now having access to electricity. India is an economic giant and will soon be the home of the biggest middle class in the world, Trump added.

“PM Modi, you are not just the pride of Gujarat, you are living proof that with hard work and devotion, Indians can accomplish anything at all, anything they want. The Prime Minister is a moving story of an incredible rise,” Trump said.

India, US united in fighting radical Islamic terrorism and has directed Pakistan to crack down on terror outfits operating from its border

Trump highlighted that both America and India have been the victim of Islamic terrorism. He stated that his country stands united with India in defending their citizens from the threat of Islamic terrorism. In what appears as endorsements to India’s punitive offence against terror outfits based in Pakistan, Trump said, “Every country has the right to protect its border.”

Trump also suggested that Washington is working with Pakistan to dismantle the terror network operating from within its borders. “Our relationship with Pakistan is a very good one. My govt is working with Pakistan to crack down on terror groups. The US is working towards reducing tensions for all nations of South Asia,” Trump added.

Robust Business ties between the two countries as India about a sign a $3 billion defence deal with the US

Trump stated that he had come to India to expand the country’s bilateral trade relations. He added that he will continue his dialogue with PM Modi to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

“Our relations took a new turn when the Indian and US military has a joint exercise – Tiger Triumph. Tomorrow we will sigh a $3 Billion dollar defence deal. We want India to become our premier defence partner,” President Trump said during his India visit speech.

CPI(M)’s Sitaram Yechury unhappy that Donald Trump called India a developed country and Modi agreed with it

CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury seems to be upset with the US President Donald Trump referring to India as a “developed country’ and PM Modi agreeing with Trump on this during the massive welcome event, called ‘Namaste Trump’ which is underway at Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Yechury felt that calling India a developed economy would take away its advantages of Special & Differential Treatment as a developing country and that this was unacceptable to him.

Taking to Twitter the CPI(M) veteran leader wrote: “Modi gloats over Trump calling India a ‘developed economy’. This robs India from advantages of Special & Differential Treatment as a developing country. At a time of domestic recession, this would cripple us. Unacceptable”.

For any Indian actually, such words of acknowledgement, coming from the President of the United States of America, should be something to be proud of. But unfortunately, these words of appreciation coming for Modi did not go down well for the CPI(M) leader who suffered an epic meltdown on Twitter.

Ahead of Trump’s visit to India, CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury had on Sunday also expressed reservations over the “deals” that India may sign with the US, saying that the US is seeking concessions from India which will harm our economy.

Moreover, taking a dig at the BJP government, Yechury said that the “cow protectors” are now mortgaging our dairy economy as the US wants to “dump their dairy products on us”.

He says that the USA and Trump are trying to emerge as the world’s policeman. “Unfortunately our government is succumbing to these pressures,” he added.

“The misery of the people is compounding and at that time mortgaging India’s economy to US interests, there cannot be something more anti-Indian people than this,” he said.

Calling the mega ‘Namaste Trump’ event a ‘tamasha’ he had expressed happiness that the event was being boycotted by many ‘activists’.

Watch: US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump spin the Charkha at Sabarmati Ashram

The US President Donald Trump along with First lady Melania Trump tried his hand at spinning the Charkha at the Sabarmati Ashram while PM Narendra Modi was seen standing close and guiding the US President in doing so. Workers from the Sabarmati Ashram give them a demonstration of the Charkha and how Mahatma Gandhi used the wheel to weave.

After a tour of the Ashram and spinning the charkha, President Trump signed the visitors’ book.

In the short note written in the visitor’s book, the US President referred to PM Modi as his “great friend” and thanked him for the wonderful visit to the Ashram.

Trump’s note in the visitor’s register at Sabarmati ashram

Donald Trump and Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner’s visit to the Sabarmati Ashram was a brief stop before heading to the Motera Stadium during his two-day visit.

The Sabarmati Ashram was Mahatma Gandhi’s base after his return to India from South Africa. Gandhi led the Dandi march in 1930 from Sabarmati Ashram.

Trump is not the first international leader to visit Sabarmati Ashram, though he the first US President to do so. Here are a few other world leaders who have visited the revered site. Chinese President Xi Jinping, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau along with his wife Sophie and children Xavier, Hadrien and Ella-Grace too visited the iconic Ashram wearing Indian ethnic clothes and also tried their hands on the Charkha during their visits.

Before his arrival, the US president had taken to Twitter to announce his scheduled arrival in India. Tweeting in Hindi, Trump said, “We are excited to come to India. We are on our way. In a few hours, we will meet everyone.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to Trump’s tweet with “Atithi Devo Bhava (Guest is God).”

Earlier in the day, PM Modi tweeted his welcome message to President Trump.

President Trump is the seventh US President to visit India. He is accompanied by his wife Melania Trump and Daughter, Ivanka Trump. A massive welcome event, called ‘Namaste Trump’ will be held in Motera stadium, Ahmedabad. US President Trump visited the Sabarmati Ashram en route to the stadium. He also plans to visit Taj Mahal in Agra as well.

‘Epstein ne khudko nahi maara’: Tweet by Donald Trump ahead of his India visit prompts Americans to tweet in Hindi

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, ahead of his arrival in India, conveyed his sentiments about the official visit in Hindi. He had said, “We are excited to come to India. We are on our way. In a few hours, we will meet everyone.” As expected, Donald Trump’s tweet prompted numerous Americans to tweet in Hindi as well.

Consistent with Donald Trump’s reputation of being the first person ever to be memed into the White House, his supporters quickly resorted to turning Trump’s Hindi tweet into a trend.

Jack Posobiec, a veteran intel officer who is currently a correspondent for One America News Network, tweeted “Antifa is a terrorist organization” in Hindi. Antifa is a far-left domestic terror group in the USA that regularly engages in mob violence. This was in response to tweet by President Donald Trump ahead of his India visit.

Antifa has been carrying out attacks against Trump supporters and conservatives for a long time. The Antifa is not a fringe element in the Left. They are the blue-eyed boys in the liberal fraternity. While they were on a rampage against Trump supporters, the American Mainstream Media celebrated them and Democrat politicians and appointees congratulated and highly praised their actions. The FBI under the Obama administration had classified Antifa’s actions as ‘domestic terror activities’.

Then, another person joined the conversation saying “Bernie is a communist”. Democratic frontrunner Bernie Sanders calls himself a ‘Democratic Socialist’ but that hasn’t stopped Donald Trump or Republicans from calling him a Communist.

Sanders is known to have supported numerous violent communist rebellions and travelled to Soviet Russia for his honeymoon.

The senator from Vermont is running a strong campaign in 2020 and could very well become the Democratic nominee to go against Donald Trump later this year. One thing he has in common with the US President is that he is hated in equal measure by the establishment of both parties. Democrats are hoping against hope that he doesn’t become the nominee due to his past support for Communist regimes, however, it will be extremely difficult for them to stop the far-left populist.

Another Twitter user, Ben Schoen, was quick to remind everyone that Jeffery Epstein did not kill himself. Epstein was a paedophile with deep connections within the American political establishment who was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The official story of his death says Epstein committed suicide but the popular theory is that he was ‘suicided’. This led to the meme ‘Epstein did not kill himself’.

There have been memes galore in anticipation of Donald Trump’s visit to India. He himself shared a Bahubali spoof video on social media that superimposed his face over the lead’s. Others have tweeted spoof videos of the song Malhari from Bajirao Mastani that shows Trump as the Peshwa. And Trump’s tweet in Hindi served as a source of inspiration for evermore memes.

President Donald Trump receives a warm welcome sprinkled with the colours of Indian culture: Here are some images

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, along with his wife Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka Trump and son-law Jared Kushner received a warm welcome in Ahmedabad on the first leg of their India visit. PM Modi was at the Ahmedabad airport to receive the dignitaries.

Trump is scheduled to visit Sabarmati Ashram, participate in a road show with PM Modi and address over one lakh people at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel stadium, popularly called as Motera. Trump will witness a panoply of rich Indian cultural potpourri in the event “Namaste Trump” at the Motera stadium before heading to Agra to catch a glimpse of stunning Taj Mahal.
