Assailant who stabbed Saif Ali Khan tried to break into Shah Rukh Khan’s house ‘Mannat’ with an iron ladder, police suspect involvement of others too

In a recent development in the Saif Ali Khan assault case, Mumbai Police suspect that the assailant who stabbed the actor had also surveyed Shah Rukh Khan’s residence earlier this week. After the attack on Saif, a police team visited Shah Rukh Khan’s home, “Mannat,” to gather more information for the investigation.

According to police sources, suspicious activity was noticed near Shah Rukh Khan’s residence on January 14. An individual tried to survey the property by positioning a 6-8 foot iron ladder against the rear side of the retreat house next to Mannat.

Police suspect that the individual who surveyed Shah Rukh Khan’s residence may be the same person responsible for the attack on Saif Ali Khan.

CCTV footage from Mannat reveals that the individual’s height and build closely match those of the suspect captured on video from Saif’s apartment.

Additionally, sources suggest that the suspect likely did not act alone. The iron ladder found near Shah Rukh Khan’s residence is considered too heavy for one person to manage, indicating the possible involvement of at least two to three individuals in the incident.

Saif suffered six stab wounds during the attack at his Bandra residence on Wednesday night. Surgeons successfully removed the knife and repaired the spinal fluid leakage. The actor’s condition is now stable and out of danger.
