On Friday (31st January), controversial Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker took to Instagram to claim that her X (formerly Twitter) account was ‘hacked.’
She had previously claimed that her X account was ‘permanently suspended’ for wishing her fans on Republic Day. Swara Bhasker alleged that she had received an email from X about copyright infringement.
According to the screenshots shared by the Bollywood actress on Instagram, it became clear how she lost access to her X account. Bhasker had received a fraud email from a fake phishing link ([email protected]).

She got this fake phishing mail and she clicked the link and changed her password 🤣🤣🤣
Then her account was hacked and the person assumed all powers by delegating it to them 🤣🤣🤣

Thereafter, she changed her X password on the phishing link, which was impersonating the real X platform. This gave the ‘hacker’ access to her real account.
The hacker then delegated all powers to a new account called ‘@aliaalali IT’. Swara Bhaskar demanded that X reverse the decision and restore her account.
The Bollywood actress had previously claimed that she was being ‘mass reported’ and harassed and attempts were being made to suppress her freedom of speech and expression.
