Madhu, a 27-year-old tribal youth from Attappady in Kerala's Palakkad district, was lynched by an Islamist mob over suspicion of stealing food items, including rice, from a local shop.
Speaking to OpIndia, Rajesh Valmiki Chouhan said the incident occurred around noon near a mosque in Matour village market. He alleged the attackers used sticks and rods, while police said CCTV exists and complaints are acted upon.
