The suspended AAP councillor Tahir Hussain, who was absconding after being charged for the brutal murder of the IB sleuth Ankit Sharma has been arrested by the Delhi Police.
According to the initial investigation, Ankit Sharma had returned from office around 5 pm on February 25 and stepped out with his friends. Ankit, along with his friend Kalu and a few others were on one side of a 'pulia' (small bridge) while heavy stone-pelting was on from the other side.
On Tuesday, several level police officers along with Special Cell and Crime Branch officials with large teams had raided six possible hideouts of Tahir Hussain around Chand Bagh area, but the police could not find him.
It was only a matter of time that the media would rush to whitewash Shahrukh, the rioter who wielded gun at policemen and fired 8 rounds from his pistol on February 24 after his arrest yesterday.
NDTV India Editor Ravish Kumar had earlier falsely attributed Anurag Mishra to be the February 24 shooter to shield the real perpetrator- Islamist Mohammad Shahrukh
